Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez Chasing a Win at Pocono 

July 19, 2023

Concord, NC- Nick Sanchez is feeling determined headed into the weekend for the CRC Brakleen 150 at Pocono Raceway. The No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet will be back in action this Saturday, July 22nd, where Sanchez will pilot his machine for over 150 miles. Following a 9th place finish at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Sanchez is in search of better results at the Tricky Triangle. Sanchez currently sits in 9th place overall in playoff standings and knows that every point matters for the Chevrolet-backed team.  

Sanchez is no stranger to Pocono Raceway, having made two career starts there in the ARCA Menards Series. Victory Lane has barely remained out of reach for the young driver, having finished 4th in 2021 and 2nd in 2022. Sanchez hopes that this time, with support from Rev Racing, the No.2 crew, and Gainbridge, he can conquer the 2.3-mile superspeedway. 

“Pocono Raceway and I have history,” said Sanchez. “I have been chasing a win here for three years and I think with my team’s experience and the knowledge I have from my past races here; I’ll be able to finally bring home the win that Rev deserves. It’s time to solidify the No.2 in the standings.” 

The CRC Brakleen 150 is scheduled for Saturday, July 22nd where the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series talent will battle for 60 laps and 150 miles. Practice for the race is set for Friday, July 21st at 1:35 PM ET before qualifying at 2:05 PM ET the same day. The next day at 12:00 PM ET the green flag will wave. Rev Racing Hits the Fast Lane: Andres Perez and Lavar Scott Gear Up for Iowa Speedway

Concord, NC– Next up in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) and ARCA Menards Series East (AMS East) is a combo race at the iconic Iowa Speedway! The Calypso 150 is the first combo of the season, promising to bring fierce competitors from both series to the same track, including Rev Racing’s very own Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott. 

Andres Perez de Lara will pilot the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet while Lavar Scott is set to field the No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet. Scott and Perez de Lara have been working together at Rev Racing, preparing for the upcoming race. 

This will be Perez’s and Scott’s first visit to Iowa Speedway. Both development drivers are focused on finishing strong, using skills they have learned this season in AMS and AMS East. Perez most recently finished 5th at Elko Speedway in the last oval race in AMS. Meanwhile, Scott is using momentum from his career-best finish at Flat Rock Speedway where he brought home 2nd. 

“Every new race is an opportunity to push the limits of our potential,” said Perez. “Mechanical issues resulted in a finish that didn’t show our capability during mid-Ohio, but this has fueled our determination for a win.” Perez expressed enthusiasm “I always enjoy racing at new tracks, especially ones with history. I always learn something new.” 

Scott has received a boost of confidence after his finish at Flat Rock, and with that, the No.6 team is hungry for victory lane. 

“I am incredibly excited to get back behind the wheel of the No.6 and to visit Iowa Speedway. My team and I have been working diligently to prepare our Chevrolet and I know we have the speed to contend at Iowa. I hope to bring Rev their first win this season by using what I learned at Flat Rock.”

The Calypso 150 is scheduled for Saturday, July 15th where Perez and Scott will race for 150 laps and 132 miles. Final practice is set for 5:00 PM ET to 5:45 PM ET followed by qualifying at 6:00 PM ET. Both drivers will attend an autograph session at 6:45 PM ET where we hope to see fans come out in support of Scott and Perez. The command “start your engines” is scheduled to be given at 8:05 PM ET. Shooting for Victory Lane

Concord, NC– Legend Car drivers Nathan Lyons, Caleb Johnson, and Eloy Falcon are headed into the 7^th round of the Cookout Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the US Legends Car Series. The trio have been determined for success, all within the top 10 of the standings.

Event Information: US Legends at Charlotte Motor Speedway

The Legend Car trio has been busy participating in the Shootout, earning points, and gaining experience. The standings are listed below.

Nathan Lyons- 467 total points and second in the standings. Lyons is only 6 points off from the leader.  
Caleb  Johnson– 397 total points and ninth in the standings. Johnson is only 54 points outside of the top 5.
Eloy Falcon– 388 total points and ninth in the standings for the Semi-Pro Legends. Falcon is only 45 points outside of the top 5.

Lyons and Johnson, inside the Young Lion Legends, along with Falcon in the Semi-Pros will compete again tomorrow at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Racing starts at 6:00 PM ET. Tune in on Floracing.com and follow along on Rev’s social media.

Rev Racing Fielding Two Entries in The Zinsser SmartCoat 150

Concord, NC- Rev Racing, with Andres Perez de Lara and Jack Wood, is headed to the renowned Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to participate in the Zinsser SmartCoat 150. The next race in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) is the first road course this year, promising to showcase the skills and determination that Perez and Wood plan to bring to the track.

Andres Perez de Lara is set to field the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet while Jack Wood will pilot the No. 6 WB/Velocity Racing Chevrolet. Both drivers have been diligently preparing on the simulator, tuning their racing machines, and seeking direction from mentors.

While Perez has yet to race a road course in 2023, this weekend promises to be busy for the young driver. Perez, coming off a 5th-place finish at Elko Speedway, will race Mid-Ohio for the first time in his career, before flying back to Mexico to race another road course in the NASCAR Mexico Series.  

“I am excited about this weekend at Mid-Ohio. I am ready to showcase my skills on road courses and continue to aim for victory lane,” said Perez. “This weekend is busy for me, but I have been preparing with the simulator, staying healthy, and learning from the guys at Rev Racing. I am grateful for this opportunity, and I am determined to bring home the win that Rev deserves.”

Wood plans on using momentum from his 4^th place finish at Sonoma Raceway in the AMS West and applying what he learned to the 13 turns at the Mid-Ohio course. Wood has raced at Mid-Ohio twice, once in the 2022 AMS series and once

in the 2022 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

“Road course racing is something I enjoy doing quite a bit and we had a solid run in Sonoma, so I think we’ll show good results in Mid-Ohio as well,” said Wood. “It’s going to be a double header weekend for me, so I’ll have plenty of track time. I think we have a good shot at it.”

The Zinsser SmartCoat 150 is scheduled for Friday, July 7th where Wood and Perez will race for 42 laps and 112.9 miles. Final practice is from 1:45 PM ET to 2:45 PM ET before timed qualifying shortly after from 3:00 PM ET to 3:20 PM ET. After driver intros, the green flag is set to wave around 6:00 PM ET. Sanchez returns to action at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Concord, NC – Nick Sanchez is eager to get back to action in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) during the O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Mid-Ohio) this Saturday, July 8th. Sanchez most recently competed at Nashville Superspeedway where he started on the pole and finished 3rd. This was a turning point for Rev Racing and Sanchez, as he is now in 8th place in the playoff standings. Every point matters as the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet team prepares for the 13-turn, 2.258-mile road course this weekend. 

After the series debut at Mid-Ohio in 2022, the trucks will return for the second running of the O’Reilly Auto Parts 150. Sanchez is no stranger to this road course, as he has made 2 ARCA Menards Series starts at the track. In 2021 he started 5th and finished 5th and in 2022 he started 3rd and finished 11th. Sanchez enjoys this track and feels very confident moving into the weekend. 

“I’m excited to get back to Mid-Ohio,” said Sanchez. “Coupling my previous experience here in the ARCA series and all of the preparation from the team moving into the weekend, I am extremely confident we will find good results. Right now it is all about execution. We need a good clean race and will work on finding speed in the slower parts of the course.”

The O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 is scheduled for Saturday, July  8th  where competition will reach top speeds for 67 laps. Practice for the race is set Friday 4:00 PM ET and just 30 minutes later 

Sanchez will qualify, competing for the pole position. Driver introductions will begin at 1:10 PM ET and shortly thereafter at 1:30 PM ET, the green flag will wave. The event will be covered on FS1 and Sirius XM with live updates provided on Rev Racing’s social media.

Scott and Rogers Prepared for Let Freedom Race Night

 Concord, NC- Lavar Scott and Paige Rogers are headed to Florence Motor Speedway for a chance to showcase their skills and determination in the Let Freedom Race Night. The NASCAR Drive for Diversity Development Drivers will take to the track Saturday, July 1^st, for their shot at victory lane.

After several weeks off, Rogers is returning to the Advanced Auto Parts Weekly Series in the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet. While Rogers hasn’t been behind the wheel of a late model in a few weeks, she has been keeping sharp racing back home in Indiana.

During the ARCA Menards Series East (AMS East) break in the schedule, Rev saw the opportunity to keep Scott prepared and keen. Using the momentum from his finish in The Dutch Boy 150 at Flat Rock Speedway, and to gain additional seat time, Scott will get back behind the wheel of the No.4 Max Siegel Inc. late model Chevrolet. Scott has been busy preparing at the Rev Racing shop by strengthening his late model skills with sim time, conversations with mentors, and studying films from prior races.

Lavar Scott

Team: No.4 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet with Director of Late Model Programming, Crew Chief John Carroll

Scott is carrying momentum after securing a career-best finish in the AMS East at Flat Rock Speedway. Scott was able to bring home P.2 at the track. “I’m thrilled to be returning to the late models during this break in the ARCA East series,” said Scott. “There’s something special about getting behind the wheel of a late model and experiencing the raw power and connection with the car and track.” Scott stated, “I am grateful for the opportunity to reignite the adrenaline I get from being behind the wheel of the No.4.”

Paige Rogers

Team: No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet with Director of Late Model Programming, Crew Chief John Carroll

After racing in Indiana, Rogers is prepared to get back behind the wheel of her No.2 Chevrolet. “After taking some time off, I am very excited to hop back behind the wheel of the No.2 late model stock car,” said Rogers. “In this off time, I have prepared by training on the sim and watching films. I feel very confident heading into this weekend as my team and I have both prepared very well for this event. I believe this weekend will be a tipping point in our season.”

Rev Racing prepared for the next rounds in The Summer Shootout

Just two weeks ago, the Summer Shootout in the US Legend Car Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway kicked off with excitement as the drivers took to the track for Rounds 1 and 2. In both rounds, our team of drivers showcased their skills and determination, resulting in impressive performances.

Caleb Johnson brought home two top-10 finishes; Nathan Lyons brought home a 12^th and 6^th place finish; and Eloy Falcon a top-5 finish before finishing 14^th in round 2. 

Due to weather advisories, rounds 3 and 4 of the Summer Shootout had to be canceled last week. But the anticipation for today’s doubleheader, encompassing both rounds, is sky-high. Our drivers are thrilled and well-prepared as the challenge of Charlotte Motor Speedway continues to develop their skills and push them toward the winner’s circle. They have been fine-tuning their techniques, analyzing the track, and strategizing their approach, all in pursuit of further success.

With their previous achievements in mind, our drivers enter today’s races with confidence and determination. They are eager to make up for the missed opportunity last week and continue to showcase their skills on the track. We do not doubt that they will give their absolute best in this doubleheader.

Campbell to race at Tri-County Speedway

Concord, NC– Justin Campbell, a rising star in the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Late Model Development Program, is headed to Tri-County Speedway, a change of scenery from the past few weeks. Campbell is preparing for a 75-lap feature at the track, one of the longer races the No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet will participate in, and his first visit to Tri-County in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. 

Event Information: Tri-County Speedway 

Series/Race: Late Model Stock Car 75-lap feature 

Practice for late models is scheduled from 3:12 PM ET to 3:22 PM ET and from 4:15 PM ET to 4:25 PM ET. Qualifying begins shortly after the final practice at 5:00 PM ET before racing at 6:30 PM ET. The Late Model feature is the last of the night. 

Justin Campbell: 

Team: No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet with Director of Late Model Programming, Crew Chief John Carroll 

A newcomer to Tri-County Speedway, Campbell has been busy studying the track and training at Rev Racing. “This will be my first time at Tri-County in late models, and I can’t help but feel excitement,” said Campbell. “My goal for this race, like every other, is to push myself to new limits. I hope to continue to learn, grow, and qualify better each time. Qualifying better will set the stage for a better finish, a better chance to showcase my talent.”

Perez Set to Make Elko Speedway Debut in the Menards 250

Concord, NC– Andres Perez gears up for the Menards 250 at Elko Speedway scheduled for June 24th. Fresh off an impressive 4th place finish at Berlin Raceway last weekend, Perez is ready to find his first victory in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS). 

Perez’s performance at the Berlin Raceway in the AMS showcased his talent and ability to maneuver through intense competition, ultimately securing him a commendable 4th-place finish. Building on this recent success, Perez is eager to harness his momentum and carry it forward into the Menards 250 while piloting the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet. 

During preparations leading up to the race, Perez has devoted time to honing his racing techniques, studying the nuances of Elko Speedway, and collaborating closely with his crew to optimize the performance of his racing machine.

The Menards 250 at Elko Speedway promises a thrilling experience as Perez takes to the track for the first time in his career. “I am thrilled to participate in the Menards 250 at Elko Speedway,” expressed Perez. “The competition will be challenging, but I am fully prepared to push myself to the limit and give it my all. Sanchez returns to action at Nashville Superspeedway

Concord, NC – Nick Sanchez is gearing up for his first-ever race at the Nashville Super Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) during the Rackley Roofing 200. Fresh off a top-10 finish at the Worldwide Technology Raceway, Sanchez is ready to pilot the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet on the 1.3-mile track with support from his Rev Racing team. 

During the schedule break, Sanchez has been diligently preparing for his return to the track. His dedication to success, and with support from Rev Racing and Gainbridge continue to push the No.2 Chevrolet closer to the winner’s circle. Staying healthy, sharpening his skills, and fine-tuning the truck have been Sanchez’s and the team’s top priorities.

The Nashville Superspeedway, known for its high-speed straights, promises a race full of talent for fans and participants. Sanchez’s debut at this historic venue adds an extra layer of excitement to the event, as he goes head-to-head with seasoned veterans and strives to make a lasting impression, bringing home Rev’s first win in the NCTS.

                             Reyna and Campbell Make Return to Florence Motor Speedway for Father’s Day Race


Concord, NC– Jaiden Reyna and Justin Campbell are all set to make their comeback to Florence Motor Speedway. With their sights set on victory, Reyna and Campbell have dedicated countless hours preparing for this event. The NASCAR Drive for Diversity Late Model Development Driver’s will take to the track on Saturday, June 17th, for their shot at the winner’s circle with support from the programs associate sponsor Advance Auto Parts.

Having previously competed at Florence Motor Speedway, both Reyna and Campbell have a deep understanding of the intricacies of the track. In the weeks leading up to the Father’s Day race, Reyna and Campbell have been hard at work, honing their skills and fine-tuning their race cars.

Justin Campbell

Campbell is coming off an 8th place finish at Florence Motor Speedway and ready to continue to progress towards a win. “Two weeks ago, we had a strong car. Unfortunately, the results did not reflect how good we were,” said Campbell. “Qualifying is something I can improve on, because starting in the middle of the field does me or my team no good. I strongly believe we will have better results when I qualify closer to the front, and I plan for that this weekend. Rev Racing has been hard at work and stuck by my side, it’s time for me to bring home the results.” 

Jaiden Reyna

Team: No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet with Director of Late Model Programming, Crew Chief John Carroll 

Returning to the late model arena, Jaiden Reyna has been training at Rev in the prior weeks leading up to the race. “I’m really excited to get back on the track at Florence this weekend,” said Reyna. “The tire management there is like no other, and I’m ready to continue to build skills there on the low grip surface.”

This event, part of the ARCA Menards Series (AMS), will put Perez’s skills to the test as he takes on a 200-lap battle against a field of talented competitors on the less than a half mile track. Perez will pilot the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, after coming off another top 10 finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway where he finished 7th. Perez has been keeping sharp while racing in Mexico and training with Rev. 

Andres Perez expressed his enthusiasm ahead of his Berlin Raceway debut, stating, “I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to race at Berlin Raceway for the first time. It’s a track with a rich history and unique characteristics that will provide a challenge. I have been preparing extensively, both mentally and physically, and I can’t wait to showcase my skills.”

The ARCA 200 is scheduled for Saturday, June 17th where Perez will compete against competition for 200 laps and 88 miles. Practice is scheduled from 4:00 PM ET to 4:45 PM ET, before qualifying starts at 6:00PM ET. Each car will get two laps to try to secure the pole position before the green flag waves at 8:20 PM ET. Rev Racing Fields Three Promising Drivers in Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Concord, NC – Rev Racing proudly announces the participation of three of its rising stars, Eloy Sebastian Lopez Falcon, Caleb Johnson, and Nathan Lyons, in the highly anticipated Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The trio will compete in the Legend Car Series over the next couple of months as part of Rev Racing’s Youth Development Program. 

Rev Racing has a strong track record of identifying and developing promising young drivers, and Falcon, Johnson, and Lyons exemplify the team’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of competitive racers. 

Caleb Johnson, from Denver, Colorado, will pilot his INEX Legend car in the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway, along with several other Legend Car events. Johnson most recently finished 5th in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series point standings.

Nathan Lyons, from Concord, NC, for the first time in 2023 season, will pilot his U.S. Legends Car in the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway, along with several other Legend Car events throughout the season. Lyons began racing a Bandolero Car at age 12. He first competed at Winter Heat in 2022 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, where in his first race he finished 9th and 8th in his second race.

Eloy Sebastian Lopez Falcon, from Oaxaca, Mexico, will also pilot his INEX Legend car in the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the first time with the team. The 17-year-old is the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series México champion. 

The Legend Car Series, a platform for emerging talents, is the perfect arena for Eloy, Caleb, and Nathan to develop their abilities. Rev Racing firmly believes that this series will provide these drivers with invaluable experience, exposure, and the chance to further develop their skills as they embark on their journey towards NASCAR.

Sebastian Arias Returns To Sonoma Raceway


June 7, 2023 (Concord, NC) Sebastian Arias is heading back to wine country this week to compete in the General Tire 200, at the Sonoma Raceway, in his #2 Rev Racing Chevrolet, sponsored by BradyIFS, one of the nation’s premier distributors of food services and janitorial products, as well as Betco and Rubbermaid Commercial Products.

Sebastian is excited to partner with Rev Racing, as the 2022 ARCA Menards Championship winning team has proven they have what it takes to run up front consistently and that is where Sebastian wants to be.  Sebastian said, “I have been working hard on the simulator and was out at Sonoma Raceway testing in some other cars a few months ago to prepare for this race and I feel great.”

Sebastian will be competing against a stacked field this time around, with no less than six competitors from the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series scheduled to compete.  Driver’s Ryan Preece, Cole Custer, Sammy Smith, Riley Herbst, Kyle Sieg and Parker Retzlaff will all be in the hunt for a win.  Cole Custer finished second last week in the ARCA Menards Series West race at the Portland International Raceway and the next day he won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the same track, proving that the ARCA Menards Series West is not only a proving ground for future stars of NASCAR, but where its current stars look for quality experience to prepare for their upcoming races in the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Rev Racing heads West to Sonoma Raceway

June 7, 2023

Concord, NC– Rev Racing is headed to the ARCA Menards Series West (AMS West) for the first time this season. Rev will field two drivers, Jack Wood who will pilot the No.6 Velocity Chevrolet, and for the first time, Sebastian Arias who will pilot No.2 BradyIFS, RubberMaid, and Betco Chevrolet in the General Tire 200.

Jack Wood is determined for a satisfactory finish at Sonoma Raceway, a track he considers home. Wood, returning to the track with Rev Racing for the sixth time in his partial season, is looking forward to this weekend’s activities. Wood has raced at Sonoma across multiple different series, including the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, K&N West, Trans-AM, and finally the AMS West series, where he was able to secure a 4th place finish in 2022. 

“Sonoma is only about an hour from where I grew up, so it’s my home track as far as NASCAR circuits are considered,” said Wood. “I’ve been lucky enough to race there a few timesand I’ve been able to get the win. Hopefully, we can replicate that this weekend and earn a win for Rev in the AMS West series. I really want to get this win for not only me, but everyone at the Rev shop. I know we’ll have speed, so by the end, hopefully we can park it in victory lane.” 

This will be Sebastian Arias debut with Rev Racing, and the first of his two race commitment with the team. Arias hopes to use his previous seat time in the AMS, Legend Car and Late Model Series to find success in Sonoma. Arias is eager to further elevate his career and make a lasting impression under the guidance and support of Rev Racing.

“I feel confident and I’m ready to take on the track this weekend with Rev Racing, supported by the outstanding sponsorship of BradyIFS, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, and Betco,” said Arias. “I am grateful for this opportunity to represent these great companies and Rev on the track and I couldn’t be more excited to see what we achieve together.”

Rev Racing and Justin Campbell Ready for Hot Summer Nights at Florence Motor Speedway

Concord, NC-  NASCAR Drive for Diversity Late Model Development Driver, Justin Campbell, is headed back to Florence Motor Speedway for another shot at the winner’s circle. Campbell is preparing for a 60 lap feature at Florence in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, his second race since the announcement that Advance Auto Parts will begin sponsoring the late model program at Rev Racing as an associate sponsor.

Campbell is ready for another shot at the historic Florence Motor Speedway and has been steadily improving and learning over the course of the season. “I’m looking forward to being back at Florence,” said Campbell.

Campbell is no newcomer to Florence stating “Without a doubt I have struggled at Florence since my debut at this track. However, I have improved a lot with speed and consistency. My team and driving coaches continue to help me become better and better. We’re getting closer to a win.”

Rev Racing and Sanchez ready to take on World Wide Technology Raceway

Concord, NC– Rev Racing is prepared for the upcoming race at World Wide Technology Raceway, host of the Toyota 200 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS). Rev Racing is poised to deliver on this super-speedway, as Sanchez is set to careen around the 1.25 mile track for 160 laps. After last week’s performance at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS), the team is hungrier than ever to get the results they are looking for this weekend. 

Nick Sanchez, a rising star of Rev Racing, showcased his unwavering determination and skill at CMS, where he fought valiantly to overcome multiple setbacks. Sanchez skillfully maneuvered his way through the competition several times, recovering from being laps down to a commendable 9th place finish while piloting the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet. His performance demonstrated the team’s grit and resilience, solidifying their status as consistent formidable contenders in the Series.

“We are incredibly proud of Nick and his commitment this season,” said Danny Stockman, Crew Chief of the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet. “His performance at Charlotte Motor Speedway showcases his resilience and commitment, to not only finish but contend for the checkered flag every time he jumps in the truck. Practice for the Toyota 200 is set for Friday, June 2nd at 6:05 PM ET and will be followed by qualifying at 6:35 PM ET. The race is scheduled for Saturday, June 3rd at 1:30 PM ET where the NCTS will race a total of 160 laps and 200 miles on the super-speedway. Rev Racing prepares for ARCA race at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Concord, NC– The next race in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) schedule is at the iconic Charlotte Motor Speedway. Rev Racing is fielding drivers Andres Perez de Lara and Jack Wood in the General Tire 150.  

Andres Perez de Lara is set to field the No. 2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet while Jack Wood will be behind the No. 6 WB/Velocity Racing Chevrolet. Rev has been preparing during the break in the schedule, where both Perez and Wood plan to give it their best shot at the winner’s circle. 

Perez is coming off of a 6th place finish at Kansas Speedway after climbing from the back of the field due to mechanical issues. This will be Perez’s first time at Charlotte Motor Speedway, though he has been studying hard and dedicating time to the sim. 

“This is my first time racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the home track for the team, and I’ve been working hard for this track,” said Perez. Perez has been busy preparing stating “I am ready to show our speed in the No.2 Max Siegel Rev Racing Chevrolet. The team deserves a win.” 

Wood, coming off of a top 5 finish at Kansas Speedway, is poised to leave his mark at CMS. Wood is experienced across multiple series here at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He has made two starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and one in the ARCA Series, where he was able to secure a 6th place finish. 

“I’m really looking forward to heading back to Charlotte, it’s my favorite mile and a half track that we go to in the ARCA and Truck Series,” said Wood. Wood stated “It has good character and it’s always fun to race close to home for the team. It’s one that everyone wants to win just a little bit more and that makes for exciting racing. I’ve had strong runs there in the past and it’s a place I believe I have a good understanding of. I can always learn more but after Kansas I think we’re going to have good speed in our car. I’m looking forward to getting to the track and seeing what we can do.”

The General Tire 150 is scheduled for Friday, May 26th and will see drivers take to the track for 100 laps and 150 miles. Final practice is from 11:40 AM – 12:25PM ET before a timed qualifying session at 12:40 PM  ET. The green flag is set to wave around 6:00 PM ET and you can tune in on FS1, Sirius XM, the Fox Sports App, or Rev social media.

Rev Racing and Sanchez ready for redemption at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Concord, NC– Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez are both excited and determined heading into the race weekend for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Following a challenging performance, that saw Sanchez finishing 30th due to unexpected mechanical issues at North Wilkesboro, he is determined to showcase his team’s true potential, a reflection of him leading the most laps this season, and bounce back with a successful finish.

Sanchez will once again pilot the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet and despite the setback in the last race, Sanchez remains undeterred and fully-focused on achieving a podium finish in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200. Sanchez and the entire team refused to give up at North Wilkesboro, making race saving repairs and getting back on the track to finish the race.

Expressing his eagerness for the upcoming race, Sanchez said “ We are ready for Charlotte. We learned a lot in the last race and continue to garner the information needed to make us solid contenders. My team works incredibly hard and we don’t dwell on the past. Charlotte will be a good run for us and I am ready to give the guys the finish they deserve.” 

As the race weekend draws near at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the team is aiming for nothing short of victory on Friday, May 26th. Practice for the NCTS is set for 1:35 PM ET with qualifying at 2:05 PM. The green flag is set to wave around 8:30 PM ET. The No. 2 Gainbridge Chevrolet will race for 134 laps and over 200 miles. Lavar Scott to Showcase Racing Prowess at Flat Rock Speedway

Concord, NC– Rev Racing is headed back to the ARCA Menards Series East (AMS East) for another shot at the winner’s circle with Lavar Scott. The Dutch Boy 150 is scheduled for Saturday, May 20 th at 7:30PM ET. Scott is coming off of another top 10 finish, coming in 6th, in Nashville. Scott will field the No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet for another shot at redemption.

Flat Rock Speedway is the shortest track on the schedule, coming in at just a quarter mile, and Scott is determined to harness his determination, precision, and tactical finesse for the race. Flat Rock is renowned for its thrilling atmosphere and is the ideal stage for Scott’s reputable short track skills. Scott’s focus and commitment to winning makes him a strong contender as he vies for his first victory of the season.

“Arca hasn’t been to this track in over 20 years and I’m excited that this is the year it’s back,” said Scott. When asked about his thoughts on the track Scott said “It’s a super short track only being a quarter mile, so I know racing is going to be intense. Regardless, I can’t wait to get there Saturday with Rev and compete for a win.”

The upcoming Dutch Boy 150 is set to take place for 150 laps and just 37.5 miles. Practice is set for 3:30 PM ET and last for an hour before qualifying at 5:10 PM ET. The green flag will wave at 7:50PM and you can follow along on Rev social media or Floracing.com
