Nick Sanchez and Rev Racing are playoff bound in the NASCAR Truck Series: “Job is not done yet”
Concord, NC. (August 12,2024)
Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez claims the number four spot in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) playoffs, piloting the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet. The 2024 season has consisted of sixteen races so far with Sanchez obtaining a top ten finish in 10 events and seven top fives.
The 2022 ARCA Menards Series Champion, Nick Sanchez, has secured the checkered flag in the NCTS this year starting with the first race of the 2024 season at Daytona International Speedway, after leading 26 laps. Sanchez then obtained another win in our back yard at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Today, Sanchez holds fourth in the NCTS standings, just five points shy from 3rd and 23 points from breaking into 1st.
“I feel confident about the progress the team and I have been making this season, but the job is not done yet”, said Sanchez. “The first race of the play offs is in Milwaukee and last year we started 2nd there, with all the work Gainbridge and Rev has been putting in behind the scenes, we are ready to compete.”
Earning two pole positions thus far, Sanchez has led 76 laps and remains hopeful to increase that number before the end of the season. “I always want to do better than I did last year,” said Sanchez. “Utilizing the resources that Team Chevy and Rev have has helped with putting me in better positions to practice, qualify, and finish.”
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series playoff opener will be held at the Milwaukee Mile for the LiUNA! 175, featuring 177.6 miles of racing on the short track. Tune in Sunday, August 25th, at 4PM ET on FS1, MRN Radio, and Rev Racing social media channels for live updates throughout the race.
