Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez Return to Pocono Raceway

July 11, 2024

Concord, NC- Nick Sanchez and Rev Racing are set to return to Pocono Raceway in the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS). The No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet will compete in the CRC Brakleen 175 on Friday, July 12th. Sanchez is currently 3rd in the NCTS standings, just 89 points behind the leader, and is eager to close the gap at Pocono.

In the last NCTS event, at Nashville Superspeedway, Sanchez had to begin from the rear of the field due to a spin during qualifying that resulted in the use of a backup truck for the race. Sanchez navigated through the field and ultimately secured a 13th-place finish.

Sanchez has competed at Pocono Raceway across two different series. In 2021, Sanchez was able to secure a 4th place finish in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS), and in 2022 was able to secure 2nd in the AMS. Last season in the NCTS, Sanchez started on the pole. Unfortunately, a late race crash resulted in Sanchez finishing 19th.

“We’re ready to be back on the track, “said Sanchez. “It’s no secret that we have performed well on superspeedways, and I have history here at Pocono. Our strategy is to qualify up front again and stay there. We want to bridge the gap in the standings.”

With 2 pole starts and 2 wins this season, Sanchez hopes to continue to showcase the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet in victory lane. The CRC Brakleen 175 weekend will feature all three top national series competing at Pocono Raceway. Practice for the NCTS is scheduled for 2:00 PM ET followed by qualifying at 2:30 PM ET on July 12th. The green flag will wave at 5:30 PM ET marking the beginning of 175 miles of competition.
