Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez to Compete in Tsport 200
July 17, 2024
Concord, NC- Nick Sanchez and Rev Racing are set to return to the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park(IRP). The No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet will compete in the Tsport 200 this Friday, July 19th. Sanchez is currently 3rd in the NCTS standings, 113 points behind the leader.
Last week, Sanchez started in the 9th position at Pocono Raceway and ultimately finished 13th after multiple interruptions from weather. Sanchez has competed at IRP twice before, once in the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) finishing 11th, and once in the 2022 ARCA Menards Series finishing 7th.
“Last week our showing wasn’t as good as I would have liked after the weather and some late race incidents didn’t play in our favor,” said Sanchez. “However, this week we are back to a shorter track, and I am ready to continue to showcase our skills and talent. I know the Rev Racing crew will deliver a fast No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet and we will continue to compete up front.”
The Tsport 200 weekend will feature all top three national series along with the ARCA Menards and ARCA Menards East series. Practice for the NCTS is set for 3:30 PM ET followed by qualifying at 4:05 PM ET. The start of the 200-lap/137-mile race is set for 8:30 PM ET. Tune in to FS1, MRN, and Rev Racing’s social media channels for live coverage.
