Concord, NC- For the first time, the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) will be competing at Dover Motor Speedway. Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott will take to the track this Friday, April 26th, for the General Tire 150. Perez will pilot the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Last week, the Rev Racing ARCA duo competed at Talladega Superspeedway. Perez finished the race in P.8 while Scott, unfortunately due to mechanical issues, finished the race in P.31.

This will be Perez’s debut at The Monster Mile due to the track being added to the AMS schedule for the first time this season. “This is the second mile long track of the season,” said Perez. “At Phoenix we had a decent run but due to weather that ended the race early finished P.8. We have finished in the top 10 in both races that we have completed, and I am hoping that we can finally secure the win here at Dover.”

This will be Scott’s second visit to Dover Motor Speedway, a track he calls home. Last season in the AMS-East series, Scott was able to qualify P.8 and finish in the top 5. “It’s amazing to be back at what I consider to be my home track, especially with it being such a big weekend for the AMS,” remarked Scott. “Last week we didn’t get the finish we wanted due to issues out of our control. Being able to redeem myself, and the No.6 team, at this track would make it even sweeter.”

The Rev Racing ARCA duo will practice at the track on Friday, April 26th, at 12:40 PM ET. Qualifying is shortly thereafter at 1:40 PM ET. An autograph session is set for 2:15 PM ET before the start of the race at 5:00 PM ET. This weekend is in conjunction with the NASCAR Xfinity and Cup series. Concord, NC- Both Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott are competing in the General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS). Arca Menards Series 2024: Arca Menards Series General Tire 150 March 08

Following their last race at Phoenix Raceway, where Perez secured an 8th place finish and Scott claimed 10th position before the race was halted due to inclement weather, both drivers are eager to compete at the historic Talladega track.

Perez is particularly motivated for redemption at Talladega after a near miss last season. Despite qualifying 3rd and leading 28 laps, Perez narrowly missed out on victory after losing the lead during the final restart of the race, ultimately finishing in 4th place. “We came close to victory lane last season at Talladega,” Perez stated. “This year, I intend to leverage the lessons learned and finally earn an ARCA win for Rev Racing. With the speed we possess, it’s all about execution.”

For Scott, Talladega Superspeedway presents an exciting debut opportunity. Despite an unfortunate incident at Daytona that dashed his hopes of a superspeedway win, Scott remains undeterred. “Competing on a track as storied as Talladega is an amazing opportunity,” Scott stated. “We’ve consistently showcased strong performance this season and securing my first AMS victory at Talladega would be a dream.”

The General Tire 200 is a doubleheader event alongside the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Perez and Scott are scheduled to practice at 4:00 PM ET on Friday, April 19th, with qualifying determined by 2023 owner points before the race kicks off at 12:30 PM ET on April 20th. Spanning 76 laps on the 2.66-mile superspeedway, the race will be broadcasted live on FS1, MRN, and fans can stay updated via Rev Racing’s social media platforms.

Rev Racing and Sanchez Hoping for Redemption

Rev Racing and Sanchez Hoping for Redemption

April 11th, 2024

Concord, NC- Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez are poised for a shot at redemption as they make their return to Texas Motor Speedway(TMS) for the Speedycash.com 250. Sanchez will pilot the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet for 165 laps, covering a total distance of 250 miles.

Sanchez comes into this race weekend after a 4th place finish at Martinsville Speedway last week. Behind the wheel of the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet, Sanchez secured a 5th place qualifying position and maintained a strong presence at the front of the field throughout the entirety of the race.

In the 2022 X-finity season, Sanchez secured an 11th place finish at TMS. Last year in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) season, Sanchez’s performance was marked by dominance, as he secured pole position and led 168 laps. Regrettably, a last-lap incident resulted in a 16th place finish.

“Last season’s race at Texas Motor Speedway was undoubtedly frustrating,” reflected Sanchez. “Despite showcasing our speed and maintaining a front-running position until the final lap, victory slipped through our fingers. This season, my goal is to put the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet back on pole position and ultimately park it in victory lane. We are ready for our second win of the season, and achieving it here would make it even more exciting.”

Practice for the Speedycash.com 250 is scheduled for Friday, April 12th, at 4:05 PM ET, followed by qualifying at 4:35 PM ET. The green flag is set to wave at 8:30 PM ET, signaling the start of the race on the 1.5-mile track. Fans can catch all the action live on FS1, MRN, and stay updated via Rev Racing’s social media platforms.

Sanchez enters this weekend’s race after a strong showing at the Circuit of the Americas, where he spent considerable time at the front of the field. Despite facing penalties that sent him to the back of the grid, Sanchez, and the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet are primed for redemption as the Rev Racing team prepares to tackle the challenges of short track racing.

I’m eager to take on Martinsville this weekend. With its short track layout, I have full confidence in the Rev Racing crew to provide me with a competitive Chevrolet.”
