August 2nd, 2024
Concord, NC – Rev Racing’s Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott are to compete in the Shore Lunch 250 at Elko Speedway this Saturday, August 3rd.
Perez is coming off another P.2 finish, his second in a row, this past weekend at Salem Speedway. Perez was able to move the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet into P.2 during one of the last restarts of the race. He continues to lead the field in the ARCA point standings, solidifying his position with consistent finishes.
Perez competed at Elko Speedway last season in the 2023 ARCA Menards Series (AMS) and was able to finish P.5. “We continue to be consistent but are still aiming to win. This Rev team deserves it and we all feel it coming.” said Perez. “I am more confident this year heading to Elko and we’re going to give it our all.”
Scott is also showcasing his talent after qualifying P.2 at Salem Speedway, his second P.2 qualification in a row. Scott kept the
No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet in the P.2 position for most of the race, he ultimately finished P.3 placing both Rev Racing entries at the top of the point standings. “Last week we had a good showing and were able to take P.2 in the point standings,” said Scott. “Elko is a new track for me, but I am confident that we will continue being competitive, continue learning, and ultimately earn a win for Rev Racing.”
