Rev Racing to Compete at The Milwaukee Mile
August 21st, 2024
Concord, NC – Rev Racing’s Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott are set to compete in the Sprecher 150 at The Milwaukee Mile this Sunday, August 25th.
Perez’s weekend in Springfield was cut short after debris on the track caused damage to the No. 2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet. The crew quickly got to work, and Perez returned to the track to gain position before returning to the pits. “Last weekend we had some bad luck,” said Perez. “However, we stayed vigilant, gained position, and plan on giving it our all in Milwaukee.” In the 2023 ARCA Menards Series (AMS) Perez competed at The Milwaukee Mile for the first time, qualifying 6th and finishing 7th. “Last year we had a decent run but this year I am more confident going into this weekend.” Perez said. “Our goal is the same, to finally get the win. Rev has finished P.2 in five of the last six races. It’s time.” Perez continues to lead the ARCA point standings.
Scott qualified P.6 in Springfield and kept the No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet in P.2 for most of the last 50 laps. He ultimately finished 5th as he crossed the finish line for the final time. Scott competed at The Milwaukee Mile last season in the AMS, where he qualified and finished 8th. “We continue to grow and compete up front,” said Scott. “Last season we competed alright in Milwaukee and going into this weekend I feel confident. Most of the tracks this season are new to me, with Milwaukee I have some experience and know what to expect.” Scott currently is second in the ARCA point standings, 44 points behind his Rev Racing teammate.
The Sprecher 150 is in conjunction with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and starts off with practice this Saturday, August 24th, at 2:00 PM ET followed by qualifying at 3:00 PM ET. The start of the 150-lap race is scheduled for Sunday, August 25th, at 1:00 PM ET. The entire race will be live on FS1, Floracing.com, and Rev Racing’s social media.
