Concord, NC
— The Milwaukee Mile concluded with Chevrolet drivers Rajah Caruth and Nick Sanchez finishing in the top 5 together at P4 and P5. It was the third time this season the duo finished in the top 5 together. This weekend, Caruth and Sanchez will try their hand in dirt racing again, on the one-mile dirt track in DuQuoin, Illinois. The Rust-Oleum Automotive Finishes 100 will serve as the 16th event of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series season and marks Round 9 of the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown.

Sanchez’s lead in the AMS standings remains within 16 points from his teammate Caruth, who currently sits at third. After a P5 finish last time in the dirt, Sanchez and the No. 2 team are committed to build on their performance from Springfield. “The goal is to improve on our performance at Springfield, we know what we need to do to the car in order to improve for this weekend, and hope for the win.”

Sanchez will pilot the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet this Sunday. “Dirt, asphalt, or whatever, my goal is still to win.” He has kept the same mentality through every race weekend and has dedicated his time off the track to learn more about dirt racing.

“On dirt, it is more relaxed, there are many aspects that you can’t control like you can on asphalt. My goal is to just be patient and execute.” Sanchez has proven that if he is in a competitive car, he can watch the race unfold in front of him and pick his time to move in and compete upfront.

“I love dirt racing.” said Rajah Caruth. The rookie enjoyed his first time running in the dirt at Springfield a few weeks ago and is eager to get back on track this Sunday. “I had a blast at Springfield and learned how to approach and drive the ARCA car on dirt.”

Caruth will pilot the No. 6 Max Siegel Inc./Gainbridge Chevrolet this weekend. “We’ve made some good changes in our package and I believe it’ll help us seal the deal!” Caruth and his team have put in a tremendous amount of work off track to earn his first win before the season closes.

The Rust-Oleum Automotive Finishes 100 will take place Sunday, September 4, at 8:00 p.m CT/ 9:00 p.m ET.. MAVTV will provide live television coverage of the race. There will be a live stream of the race on FloRacing, and a live radio broadcast on ARCARacing.com.

Dsc09074Concord, NC — After taking on Watkins Glen and the Springfield Fairgrounds in the same weekend, the Rev Racing duo of Sanchez and Caruth are preparing for the Milwaukee Mile this Sunday. Despite being dirt rookies, the team respectfully finished next to one another at P5 and P6 in Illinois. Now they are loading up and heading to the 1-mile track in West Allis, Wisconsin where they will run the Sprecher 150. The race serves as the 15th event of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series season and the sixth race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series East season. It also marks Round 8 of the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown.

As the oldest racetrack in the world, Milwaukee will pose some challenges to the team by being a flat and wide track. “We have struggled there in the past,” said Sanchez. “Hopefully, our work will pay off, and I hope we have a good day there.” The team has proven to take on any challenge this season to keep their momentum up between each race weekend. Sanchez also finds himself with the biggest points lead of the AMS season.

Caruth will pilot the No. 6 Gainbridge Chevrolet, “Historically in ARCA, we’ve been better at tracks with banking and struggled at flat tracks. So hopefully, the changes we made end up helping us.” Said Caruth. “I’m looking forward to returning with a new setup approach than last year. I hope it yields the performance we desire and the results that we have been working for all season.”

The two young stars at Rev have each made significant advancements to push their career forward. Caruth and Sanchez have a handful of Xfinity races left and six more ARCA races to showcase their talents and prove that they are up next. Both feel that winning the AMS Championships will open the door for more career opportunities and add legitimacy to who they are as competitive drivers.

Arca Menards Series

Sanchez has advanced his career by picking up four more races with Big Machine Racing in the Xfinity series. He has committed himself to achieving the best results no matter what. “As far as the end-of-season goal, I want to win the championship.” Said Sanchez. “There are six more chances for me to visit victory lane, and I will work endlessly to reach those goals.”

Caruth has shown consistency in his performances this year and has made his name known in motorsports. He is determined to become the first African-American to win the ARCA Menards Series championship.

“Before the ARCA season ends, I want to get my first win and secure the drivers’ championship. It would be huge [to win the championship]. Not too long ago, I was a kid watching Lewis Hamilton win his first championship and Bubba Wallace winning truck races. Now I have the opportunity to not only participation but be a real competitor.”

The Sprecher 150 will take place Sunday, August 28, at 2:00 p.m CT/ 3:00 p.m ET. MAVTV will provide live television coverage of the race. There will be a live stream of the race on FloRacing, and a live radio broadcast on ARCARacing.com.

Concord, NC —The Springfield Mile has been a staple within the ARCA Menard Series since 1983. The Illinois State Fairgrounds has hosted many professional auto races since 1910. This year ARCA will head to the one-mile clay oval for the Atlas 100, the 14th race in the AMS schedule. Although Springfield has been a staple for the series, this will mark Rev Racing’s first trip to the dirt oval.

The Atlas 100 will conclude an action-packed weekend in ARCA. Rev Racing brought competitive cars to the field Friday night that helped Nick Sanchez earn a second place finish at Watkins Glen. Rajah Caruth was able to hold his own after experiencing a flat and finished a respective eleventh. Sanchez, the current series leader, has now extended to 11 points over Daniel Dye and 16 over Rajah Caruth.

“Days like today, we were probably a fourth- or fifth-place car and we finished second,” Sanchez said. “You want to win them, but you also have to look at points.”

The Atlas 100 will be the first of the inaugural Performance Dirt Seed Double. If a driver wins both ARCA dirt events at the Springfield Mile and DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, they will win a $50,000 bonus. However, if no one sweeps the two races, then $5,000 will be awarded to the top performing driver in both races.

As previously stated, this will mark the first time Chevrolet drivers Sanchez and Caruth will run at Illinois State Fairgrounds. They are just 2 of the 12 ARCA drivers that will run at Springfield after competing at Watkins Glen a few days prior. “It’ll definitely be cool to race at another historic track on the ARCA schedule,” said Rajah Caruth.

Caruth has been thrown in different situations throughout his rookie year and has overcome it all. Whether it’s a new road course or a double-duty weekend, the rookie has been able to finish in the top-10 in almost every race this season. Now he will try his hand at dirt racing, “I’ve done a bit of dirt racing this year, not sure if it will give me an advantage per se, but I’m excited,” said Caruth. “Getting a win there would be a dream!”

The Atlas 100 will take place Sunday, August  21, at 1:00 p.m ET. Live television coverage of the race will be provided by MAVTV. There will be a  live stream of the race on FloRacing, and a live radio broadcast will be on ARCARacing.com.

Concord, NC — Rev Racing certainly made the most of their most recent trip to Michigan International Speedway on August 6th. Chevrolet driver Nick Sanchez earned his third win of the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) season and his teammate Rajah Caruth finished in sixth, respectively. This Friday, the team will take on the 11 turns at the historic 2.45 mile Watkins Glen road course in Watkins Glen, New York, for the thirteenth round of the AMS season.

Sanchez’s third win came off of his brilliant defensive driving against Corey Heim and Daniel Dye. He capitalized on his restarts throughout the race, and charged his way up the field to take his third win of the season. “We held them off at the end of the race and it feels good to win in that way,” said Nick Sanchez. “Strategy came into play, as we did not have the same speed as some of the other front-runners.”

With victories in Talladega, Kansas City, and Michigan, Sanchez has shown that the driver creates the difference in late race battles to capitalize on the win. He also took the lead in the AMS standings as just 9 points separate the top 3 contenders. “It’s nice to have a points cushion, but I’m still focusing on my driving and getting better each race. We can’t check-up. These final races are extremely critical to meet the ultimate goal, winning the championship.”

Sanchez will pilot the No. 2 Gainbridge Chevrolet at Watkins Glen. He finished 8th in last seasons visit to The Glen.  “I do believe we will have a much better shot at Watkins Glen from a speed perspective,” said Sanchez. “I’m looking forward to Friday’s race and seeing what we can do.”

Teammate, Caruth, is ready to take on his second road course this year and is preparing to improve from his previous experience at Mid-Ohio. “I’m excited to see how I’ll do at another road course,” said Caruth. “It will show how good my preparation is or how much I need to improve.”

Caruth maintains a similar routine for preparing for races, which has been a critical factor in his consistent performance all year, keeping him in contention for the championship. “I think getting time in at another road course will help me overall.” With the end of the season coming soon, Caruth remains in the hunt for his first win in ARCA. “I’ve got to figure out what I was doing at the start of the year, to get back in my groove.” Caruth will pilot the No. 6 Gainbridge/Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet this weekend.

Caruth is also coming off his second Camping World Truck Series race. He finished 27th after qualifying 28th at Richmond Raceway. This rookie driver has continued to make his name known and aims to leave his mark throughout the different series that also include Trucks and Xfinity. “This year has been a dream. I am extremely grateful for each and every opportunity I have been given,” said Caruth.

The General Tire Delivers 100 will take place Friday, August 19, at 6:00 p.m ET. Live television coverage of the race will be provided by FS1. There will be a  live stream of the race on the Fox Sports App, and a live radio broadcast will be on MRN/Sirius XM (XM channel 391, online channel 981) and at ARCARacing.com.

Rev Racing heads to Michigan to complete their second triple-header of the season

Rev Racing heads to Michigan to complete their second triple-header of the season

Arca Menards Series

Concord, NC — Rev Racing added another top 10 finish to their record last week at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Chevrolet drivers Nick Sanchez and Rajah Caruth finished next to each other at seventh and eighth, respectively. This weekend Rev will head over to Brooklyn, Michigan, for the twelfth round of the ARCA Menard Series (AMS). The Henry Ford Health 200 will take place Saturday, 8.6, on the 2-mile paved oval at Michigan International Speedway.

With just 5 points separating the top 3 drivers, Caruth, Sanchez, and Daniel Dye, in the AMS standings, the championship fight is far from over. Caruth is looking forward to Michigan and getting back on track. “We’ve had speed at big tracks due to aerodynamics and updated equipment,” said Caruth.

Rev has excelled throughout the second triple header since the last triple header that covered Iowa, Berlin, and Elko. “I think this triple header will yield better results due to things we’ve learned so far and how much better we will be at these tracks.”

Caruth will pilot the No. 6 Gainbridge Chevrolet this Saturday. “I just have to do my proper prep to ensure I’m in the right mentality for Saturday’s race.”

After Indy, Sanchez closed the gap to his teammate to just 1 point in the AMS standings. He will pilot the No. 2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet at Michigan International Speedway. “Michigan is unique because it’s a mix between a 1.5 mile and a super speedway,” said Sanchez. “The straights are very long, and the high downforce lower hp setup of the ARCA cars makes the draft very effective.”

A longer track like Michigan allows Rev to set up the car with more speed this weekend. “I think our team brings way more speed to a fast momentum track. We know that tracks like Michigan are tracks that we can capitalize on,” said Sanchez.

Sanchez hopes the combination of confidence and speed will play into a race where he can battle up front for the win. “Dirty air is another trait of Michigan; restarts will be extremely important to get out front and clean air.”

The Henry Ford Health 200 will take place Saturday, August 6, at 6:30 p.m ET. Live television coverage of the race will be provided by MAVTV. FloRacing will live stream the race, and a live radio broadcast will be on MRN/Sirius XM (XM channel 391, online channel 981) and at ARCARacing.com.

Rev Racing Announces Brad Means as the Crew Chief of the No. 6

Img 7097Concord, NC Rev Racing, officially, announced the driver of the No. 6 Chevrolet will have a new crew chief for the remainder of the 2022 season. Brad Means joined Rev Racing mid-season and will work with Rajah Caruth in the ARCA Menards Series.

Means has spent over 28 years in the racing industry. He is the son of Jimmy Means, who competed at NASCAR’s top level from 1976 through 1993. Mean’s background offers an expanded perspective, bringing driver and crew experience to the team. Means drove in the Hooters Pro Cup Series and NASCAR K&N Series between 1997 and 2014.

Throughout his career, Means has always enjoyed the challenge of making cars perform better and finding innovative ways to go faster on track. He got his start building cars at Richard Childress Racing. From there, Means helped various teams in both Cup Series and Truck Series by working independently as a body hanger and in fabrication. Most notably, he helped start the fabrication shop at Robby Gordon Motorsport during their run in the Cup Series.

Means has a long-standing relationship with Rev Racing, as well as strong ties to their manufacturing partner, Chevrolet. His journey with Rev Racing comes full circle as he now has the chance to work with one of Rev’s brightest young stars, Rajah Caruth. Caruth was one of the biggest reasons why Means took the crew chief role. “His talent level is very high,” said Means. “To be able to work with someone who has that ability so early on in their career is really exciting. What he has accomplished in such a short time period is impressive.  I look forward to continuing on this trajectory, as we work toward the Championship.”

Means has built cars and helped teams win in each of the NASCAR Series. He now focuses on assisting Rev to win the 2022 ARCA Menard Series Championship. “In ARCA, you have limited practice. So you have to have the best car when you unload. I think executing details on the car and putting in work sets us up to compete for wins.” “Whether it’s designing cars for the Daytona 500 or setting up the No. 2 and No. 6 at Rev, his attention to detail, hard work, and pure love for the sport separate him from the competition,” said  Matt Bucher, Director of Competition at Rev Racing.

Rev Racing carries momentum into the weekend after two top 5’s in Pocono

Img 7110Concord, NC — Rev Racing turned it up at the tricky triangle last weekend. Chevrolet drivers, Nick Sanchez finished second and Rajah Caruth was close behind in fourth, after the race was called early due to darkness. Kicking off the race weekend, Rev will head over to Brownsburg, Indiana for the eleventh round of the ARCA Menard Series (AMS). The Reese’s 200 will take place Friday, 7.29, on the 0.686 oval at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP).

Caruth maintains his lead in the AMS standings with half of the season done. He will once again take on a new race track this weekend and is keen on achieving the best result possible. “I’ve been running laps on my sim rig, being more diligent in my preparation and learning from the stuff I didn’t do well.”

Sanchez has been able to show raw speed the last few races. After a rainy race at Mid-Ohio and the early conclusion at Pocono, Sanchez is waiting for the right opportunity and conditions to take his next win and continue his battle for the championship with his teammate Caruth.

Sanchez was seconds away from General Tire Deliver’s winner, Taylor Gray, before the race ended early. “The strength for our team has been speed, we performed very well and brought the two fastest cars the last few weekends,” said Sanchez. Unfortunately, Jesse Love’s spin in the closing stages prevented Sanchez from making a move on Gray for the win, “Something out of our control happened,” said Sanchez. “I don’t think we could have played any differently, at the end of the day we had a fast car and that is all I can ask for.”

Sanchez will pilot the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet at IRP Friday. “As long as we can keep the car fast and handle well, we should be in a good position to win races.” As the team is hopeful to continue to bring a fight to the front rows moving forward with the season.

Rev Racing will also debut their new car schemes at Indianapolis, after announcing Gainbridge as its new primary sponsor. Both the No. 2 and No. 6 Chevrolet will run the new look this weekend.

The Reese’s 200 will take place Friday, July 29, at 6:00 p.m ET. Live television coverage of the race will be provided by FS1. Fox Sports app will live stream the race, and a live radio broadcast will be on MRN/Sirius XM (XM channel 391, online channel 981) and at ARCARacing.com.

in Upcoming Races

WELCOME, N.C. (JULY 20, 2022) – Big Machine Racing is pleased to announce that Nick Sanchez will drive the No. 48 Big Machine Racing Chevrolet Camaro in several upcoming races. Sanchez will make his debut with Big Machine Racing in Bristol on September 16, 2022, and will also race in Texas (9/24), Las Vegas (10/15) and Homestead (10/22).

Scott Borchetta, owner of Big Machine Racing, said, “there is so much great young talent at the moment, all vying for an opportunity to show they can get the job done. Nick has had some great results in ARCA this year and when Shane (Martin) brought us the opportunity to work with Nick, Chevrolet and NASCAR, it made perfect sense for us as we continue to develop our racing program at a very rapid pace.”

Shane Martin, Xfinity Series Program Manager for Chevrolet, said, “I have enjoyed working with Nick Sanchez the last few months on his Xfinity plans. At 21 years old it is hard to believe how mature and easy to work with he is. From our simulator to on track, Nick has what it takes to go far in our sport, and I am honored to be a part of it. Working on this partnership between NASCAR, Chevrolet, and Big Machine Racing has been rewarding and fulfilling and I cannot wait for Bristol to get here to get it started!”

“To have the opportunity to compete for wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series is really a dream come true,” said Driver, Nick Sanchez. “I can’t thank Chevrolet & NASCAR enough for their continued support as well as everything they’ve done to help put this deal together. I’m elated to drive for Scott Borchetta and begin working with everyone at Big Machine Racing. Rev Racing takes on the tricky triangle at Pocono

Rev Racing takes on the tricky triangle at Pocono

Concord, NC — In Rev Racing’s last team outing, Chevrolet driver Rajah Caruth finished a respective ninth, and teammate Nick Sanchez was just outside the top 10 after being hit with a tire penalty. This week the team will take on the 2.5mile paved tri-oval at Pocono Raceway. The General Tire Delivers 200 will host the tenth round of the 2022 ARCA Menard Series (AMS) in Long Pond, Pennsylvania.

Approaching the halfway mark of the season, Caruth and Sanchez find themselves still on top of the AMS standings. Caruth leads Sanchez in points total of 390 to 384, just 2 points ahead of third place driver Daniel Dye. “Couldn’t have asked for a better start of the season. Just have to trust the process and work through the lighter half of the year and find some wins,” said Caruth.

Caruth will pilot the No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet this Friday. Caruth has spent most of his rookie season learning new tracks while still finding ways to produce results at each event. “I enjoy going to new race tracks and doing my homework. It’s been very productive learning each race track and getting respective results.”

The General Tire Delivers 200 will not be the only race Caruth will run this weekend. Caruth will participate in double duty action, running in his third NASCAR Xfinity race with Alpha Prime Racing. “Having the test day and the ARCA race prior is going to be even better preparation for the Xfinity race on Saturday,” said Rajah Caruth.

#2: Nick Sanchez, Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet

Through the first half of the season, Sanchez has earned two wins and several top 10 finishes. However, the weekend in Mid-Ohio was one of his proudest despite suffering a penalty. “I felt confident in the car all weekend,” said Sanchez. “I felt that weekend we brought the fastest car in the field, it was a step in the right direction, and we need to bring that same ideology to the rest of the schedule.” With such a goal in mind, Sanchez is still searching for his next win.

Previously at Pocono, Sanchez was able to make up positions and finish in fourth. Sanchez will make his return to the tricky triangle and will continue to produce results. “I think it will be a good day,” said Sanchez. “We have good speed at the tracks where you keep it on the throttle most of the time, which is Pocono’s characteristic.”

Sanchez will pilot the No. 2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet around the tri-oval for 80 laps. The 200-mile race is one of the longest in the AMS schedule. “You have to make sure your car handles in the long run and try not to lose momentum, and if you’re in traffic, it will be hard to pass,” said Sanchez.

The General Tire Delivers 200 will take place Friday, July 22, at 6:30 p.m ET. Live television coverage of the race will be provided by FS1. Fox Sports app will live stream the race, and a live radio broadcast will be on MRN/Sirius XM (XM channel 391, online channel 981) and at ARCARacing.com.
