Bristol Motor Speedway, renowned for its aggressive racing, is the host of the next NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) event, promising intense competition.

As a rookie in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Sanchez arrived at this moment following a meaningful performance in Kansas. There, he not only secured a spot for the Rev Racing team in the next round of playoffs but also demonstrated his determination by qualifying second and leading 43 laps, the race high. While finishing in the 8th position was an achievement, Sanchez and team are looking for more.

However, the pressure is constant now, and if we aim to solidify our position even further, a victory is what we need. I plan to leverage my experience at Bristol across the series and park the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet in victory lane Thursday.”

Both Scott and Perez are newcomers to the Indianapolis short track, and both have been pushing one another to their full potential at Rev HQ in preparation. Sim time and staying fit have been top priorities for the young drivers as they plan out a strategy for the 137-mile race.  Perez has recently been able to bring home his best finish with Rev, securing P.3 at Pocono Raceway before securing his first pole of the season at Michigan International Speedway. Able to lead 43 laps, mechanical issues ended Perez’s night early with only 14 laps to go.

“I am continually learning and growing as I take on these new tracks,” said Perez. “Luck hasn’t been on our side so far, but our skills have, and I know we are going to show our true capabilities here soon.”
Scott also has been proving he has what it takes to run up front in the AMS and AMS East series, most recently securing P.4 in Iowa and P.2 at Flat Rock.

The Reese’s 200 is scheduled for Friday, August 11th where Perez and Scott will race for 200 laps. Final practice is set for 1:30 PM ET to 2:15 PM ET followed by a 20-minute qualifying session at 2:30 PM ET. The green flag will wave at 6:10 PM ET marking the beginning of the competition.
