Perez de Lara is leading the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) standings after an impressive showcase at Watkins Glen International this past weekend. Perez started in the back of the field after post qualifying adjustments before piloting the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet through the competition, ultimately finishing 4th, his 9th top five finish of the season. Last year, Perez competed at BMS in his debut AMS season qualifying 9th and finishing 3rd. “We performed really well here last season,” said Perez. “We have three more chances at a win this season and earning it at Bristol, after being close last season, would be amazing. The entire team is working hard in the shop and I’m looking forward to Thursday.” Perez will be piloting the No.2 Max Siegel Youth Foundation Chevrolet this Thursday.

Scott was able to qualify 9th and finish 9th after struggling with mechanical issues throughout the race at Watkins Glen. Scott, currently 2nd in the standings, competed at BMS last season. He qualified 11th, however due to a mechanical failure, ended the night 11 laps early, finishing 17th. “Last season we could have been more competitive at BMS and I am going into Thursday confident we will be better and compete up front,” said Scott. “This season our luck has kept us from winning, however short tracks have been where we thrive, and I am excited to see how we do.” Scott will be piloting the No.6 Special Smiles Pediatric Dentistry Chevrolet this Thursday.

The Bush’s Bean 200 will consist of 106 miles of competition on the half mile track and is in conjunction with all three top national series. The event will start with practice at 1:00 PM ET followed by qualifying at 2:00 PM ET. The command to start engines will be given at 5:05 PM ET and the entire event will be live on FS1, MRN, and Rev Racing social media.
