Rev Racing and Sanchez Hoping for Redemption

April 11th, 2024

Concord, NC- Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez are poised for a shot at redemption as they make their return to Texas Motor Speedway(TMS) for the 250. Sanchez will pilot the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet for 165 laps, covering a total distance of 250 miles.

Sanchez comes into this race weekend after a 4th place finish at Martinsville Speedway last week. Behind the wheel of the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet, Sanchez secured a 5th place qualifying position and maintained a strong presence at the front of the field throughout the entirety of the race.

In the 2022 X-finity season, Sanchez secured an 11th place finish at TMS. Last year in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) season, Sanchez’s performance was marked by dominance, as he secured pole position and led 168 laps. Regrettably, a last-lap incident resulted in a 16th place finish.

“Last season’s race at Texas Motor Speedway was undoubtedly frustrating,” reflected Sanchez. “Despite showcasing our speed and maintaining a front-running position until the final lap, victory slipped through our fingers. This season, my goal is to put the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet back on pole position and ultimately park it in victory lane. We are ready for our second win of the season, and achieving it here would make it even more exciting.”

Practice for the 250 is scheduled for Friday, April 12th, at 4:05 PM ET, followed by qualifying at 4:35 PM ET. The green flag is set to wave at 8:30 PM ET, signaling the start of the race on the 1.5-mile track. Fans can catch all the action live on FS1, MRN, and stay updated via Rev Racing’s social media platforms.
