Jack Wood, piloting the No.51 WB/Velocity Racing Chevrolet, expressed his sentiments, saying, “It is bittersweet. This will mark my final race with Rev this season. However, Bristol stands out as one of the most thrilling venues on our calendar, making it the perfect place to conclude the season. I’m hopeful that we can tap into some extra speed and bring Rev Racing to victory lane. While I’ll be taking on both the ARCA and Truck races, I won’t complain about 400 laps around Bristol.”
Wood has showcased his talents in seven AMS series events this year with Rev Racing, securing a best finish of 3rd place. With this last opportunity to clinch victory, we invite everyone to stay updated by tuning in to FS1, Sirius XM, the Fox Sports App, or Rev Racing’s social media channels for live race updates.
Perez’s previous weekend at Kansas City Speedway was cut short due to a brief contact with the wall. However, following a podium finish back home in Mexico, Perez is more determined than ever to pursue his first win of the season in AMS. Taking the wheel of the No. 2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, Perez aims to demonstrate his prowess in the realm of short-track racing. The young driver, embarking on his inaugural visit to Bristol, expressed his excitement, stating, “Bristol has always been a track I’ve wanted to visit due to its rich history.” When asked about his mindset, Perez affirmed, “Last week was challenging, especially after performing so well in previous races. But we don’t back down, and I’m committed to giving it my all.”
Scott has been steadily building his confidence, achieving a fourth-place finish at Kansas, matching his career best. Out of his five starts in the AMS series, Scott has impressively secured a top-five finish four times. Despite a setback during a pit stop that put him a lap down, the driver of the No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet exhibited unwavering determination by posting the fastest lap times towards the end of the race. Reflecting on the race, Scott shared, “It’s tough knowing we had the car to secure a top-three finish,” adding, “However, we will continue to evolve and improve until we secure that coveted win we all desire. We’re ready for Bristol!”
Perez has been inching closer to that elusive victory all season, and the No.2 Chevrolet is evolving alongside him. “Before Milwaukee, I said the energy within the team was changing,” Perez declared. “I think we have proven that it has. The only thing left to do is win.” Sitting at P.2 in the point standings a win could solidify the team even more.
This past week has been full of intense workouts, rigorous simulation training, and earnest discussions with mentors. “We’ve been extremely close to victory all season long,” Sanchez admitted. “Everyone in the shop understands the urgency of this moment. A win is not just wanted anymore, it’s imperative this weekend. Our team has a history of delivering under pressure, and I’m determined to provide the results our crew deserves. We’re ready to showcase our full potential on the track, and if everything works out, you’ll see us in victory lane.” Sanchez, in honor of his grandfather, will have “Lelo” on the door of the No.2 Chevrolet in Kansas, honoring cancer survivors and current cancer patients. “Having Lelo on the truck will make a win that much sweeter,” said Sanchez.

I am confident that our progress will continue, taking the No. 2 car to Victory Lane.” Speaking about his preparations for the dirt race, Perez added, “While my experience to dirt racing, especially in stock cars, is limited, I have been practicing on the simulator and having discussions with Mark Green. I’m assured that our talent and adaptability will show this weekend.”

Perez will pilot the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet for 100 laps and over 200 miles on the Michigan track, famous for allowing drivers and their machines to reach high speeds. “The team and I were able to bring home our best finish this season at a 2.5-mile track, so I am confident that, using what we have learned this season, we will finish where we need to in Michigan,” said Perez. “I have never been on these tracks before, so I am constantly learning, seeing how the car feels, and improving all while battling against the talent in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS). We’re so close to a win.”
