Eager to Claim Victory, Rev Racing and Sanchez Ready for Bristol

September 12, 2023

Concord, NC-
After securing the No. 2 Gainbridge Chevrolet in the round of 8, Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez are now more resolute than ever in their pursuit of victory. Bristol Motor Speedway, renowned for its aggressive racing, is the host of the next NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) event, promising intense competition.

As a rookie in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Sanchez arrived at this moment following a meaningful performance in Kansas. There, he not only secured a spot for the Rev Racing team in the next round of playoffs but also demonstrated his determination by qualifying second and leading 43 laps, the race high. While finishing in the 8th position was an achievement, Sanchez and team are looking for more.

Sanchez’s familiarity with the Bristol track spans across multiple occasions and racing series. He has previously competed at Bristol in the ARCA Menards Series in both 2021 and 2022, achieving his best finish of P.4. Additionally, he showcased his talent in the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series and most recently in the NCTS on dirt earlier this year. Sanchez remarked, “For some reason, our team excels under the pressure of having to perform to advance. However, the pressure is constant now, and if we aim to solidify our position even further, a victory is what we need. I plan to leverage my experience at Bristol across the series and park the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet in victory lane Thursday.”

The NCTS action is set to kick off with practice at 4:00 PM ET for the UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics on Thursday, September 14th. Qualifying will immediately follow at 4:35 PM ET, leading up to the green flag, scheduled to wave at 9:00 PM ET. Fans can catch every moment of the 200 laps of racing live on FS1, Sirius XM, and Rev Racing’s social media channels.
