Rev Racing and Sanchez Have High Expectations for Milwaukee Mile

August 21, 2023

Concord, NC- Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez, steering the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet, prepare for the 18th race of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series – The Clean Harbor 175 at the iconic Milwaukee Mile. The historic Milwaukee Mile, the world’s oldest operating speedway, has witnessed legendary moments, and now the NCTS rookie aims to etch his name in history by seizing his first victory.

Sanchez has consistently stayed at the forefront this season. Boasting four pole positions, two top-5 finishes, and an impressive eight top-10 finishes, the young driver is unwaveringly committed to honing his skills and propelling the Rev Racing team to victory lane.

No stranger to the mile-long track, Sanchez has previously competed there in the 2021 and 2022 ARCA Menards Series (AMS), securing commendable placements of P.12 and P.5. Positioned at 8th place in points, just a mere 2 points away from claiming the 7th spot, Sanchez plans to leverage his AMS experience, the lessons from this season’s races, and the guidance of mentors to conquer the Milwaukee track. Holding P.8 or better is the goal, setting the stage for the Round of 8 after Kansas Speedway.

Sanchez’s dedication is unmistakable, “We’ve poured our hearts into this season, and our progress speaks volumes. While victory has escaped the No.2 team this far, I’m confident that our true talents and potential will soon shine on the track.” Addressing his status as a rookie in the playoffs, Sanchez boldly states, “We’re making our presence felt.”

A practice session on August 26th, Saturday, at 2:00 PM ET is scheduled for the No.2 team. The NCTS qualification is set for Sunday, August 27th at 11:30 AM ET, paving the way for the Clean Harbor 175 at 4:00 PM ET. Tune in to catch the event on FS1, Sirius XM, and Rev’s social media channels.
