Rev Racing and Sanchez Determined to Secure Spot in Playoffs

July 26, 2023

Concord. NC Nick Sanchez, alongside Rev Racing, is preparing for the journey to Richmond Raceway for the Worldwide Express 250. At the helm of the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet, Sanchez will navigate through 187.5 miles and 250 laps at this historic raceway, all while vying for a spot in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) Playoffs. Set to take place on Saturday, July 29th, this high-stakes competition promises to showcase the unwavering determination that defines the NCTS.

As the standings currently place Sanchez in 9th position, the significance of every single point is critical for the Chevrolet team. In a field consisting of only 10 trucks that will advance to the playoffs, the pressure on Sanchez to excel is immense. Throughout the season, he has demonstrated remarkable potential, securing four poles and clinching top-5 and top-10 finishes on multiple occasions. Notably, Sanchez stands as the sole rookie contingent for the playoffs, precariously sitting just 21 points above the cutoff line. The race at Richmond Raceway thus presents a defining moment for him, as he must exhibit his talent and composure all while maintaining in position to advance.
