Scott and Perez ready to take on Kansas Speedway

September 7, 2023

Concord, NC- Rev Racing’s dynamic duo, Scott and Perez, rev up for the Sioux Chief Fast Track 150 in Kansas Speedway. The next ARCA Menards Series (AMS) on the schedule will take place on Friday, September 8th promising 100 laps of action, covering 150 miles of racing. Along with the AMS event, this night is a doubleheader, sharing the spotlight with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS).

Perez, piloting the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, showed promise with a second and fourth-place finish at the AMS dirt racing events, a remarkable feat considering it was his debut in dirt racing. Now, he’s looking to channel that momentum into the Kansas Speedway event, aiming for a trip to victory lane. Perez visited Kansas in early April, starting 11th and finishing 6th.

Scott, on the other hand, is making his return for his second stand-alone event of the season. He led an impressive 14 laps at Daytona International Speedway at the beginning of the season and has been a consistent force, securing five top-five finishes this season in AMS East, and is hungry for more success at Kansas.

Ccb7c8d4 3077 4b39 998e C12a9c5853cf 77192 00004b3c27063aa6Perez has been inching closer to that elusive victory all season, and the No.2 Chevrolet is evolving alongside him. “Before Milwaukee, I said the energy within the team was changing,” Perez declared. “I think we have proven that it has. The only thing left to do is win.” Sitting at P.2 in the point standings a win could solidify the team even more.

Scott, too, has had some impressive performances during the season. Armed with the confidence of leading laps in the first AMS competition of the season, he’s determined to secure the long-awaited win for the No.6 team. “The talent in the AMS is immeasurable, but with a teammate on the track and the strategy Rev is bringing I think we have what it takes to qualify and stay up front,” Scott stated.

The Sioux Chief Fast Track 150 kicks off with a practice session at 1:40 PM ET, followed by a qualifying round at 2:40 PM ET. The main event takes center stage at 6:11 PM ET, where Scott and Perez will leave it all on the track.
