Rev Racing Fielding Perez and Scott at Milwaukee Mile

August 23, 2023

Concord, NC- Rev Racing is poised to take on the Milwaukee Mile with drivers, Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott. The upcoming event is set to witness the convergence of the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) and the ARCA Menards Series East (AMS East), as they gear up for a combo race. The Sprecher 150 is marked on the calendar for Sunday, August 27th, forming a doubleheader alongside the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS).

A noteworthy aspect of this race lies in the debut appearances of both Scott and Perez at the Milwaukee track. Steering the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, Perez carries the momentum of a recent second-place finish at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, igniting the team’s determination to finally seize the elusive victory that has narrowly evaded them all season. Perez’s consistency is evident with top-five finishes across six events this season, reflecting the team’s capabilities. Lavar Scott, commanding the wheel of the No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, mirrors this consistency, having secured a notable second-place finish at Flat Rock and maintaining a top-five record in both AMS and AMS East races.

Jamie Jones, ARCA Program Director for Rev, affirms the team’s commitment, “Our drivers are a testament to their talent. Now, our focus turns to maintaining car balance, a crucial consideration on the flat Milwaukee track.”
The ascent of Andres Perez continues to captivate attention, with each race inching him closer to victory. Perez’s optimism radiates, as he shares, “The energy within the team is changing. We’re on a continuous journey of improvement, building trust among ourselves, and getting ever closer to victory lane. The win is within our grasp.”

Lavar Scott, fresh from a victory on home turf in New Jersey, has dedicated himself to preparations at the team’s headquarters. His focused mindset resonates as he states, “Mentally ready for the race, I’m confident in our readiness for Sunday’s event. Simulator sessions with Andres have been invaluable in shaping our 6b247054 F9ac 48db 9fa0 060687bf2709 77192 00004b3b48659b0astrategy.”
