Both Scott and Perez are newcomers to the Indianapolis short track, and both have been pushing one another to their full potential at Rev HQ in preparation. Sim time and staying fit have been top priorities for the young drivers as they plan out a strategy for the 137-mile race.  Perez has recently been able to bring home his best finish with Rev, securing P.3 at Pocono Raceway before securing his first pole of the season at Michigan International Speedway. Able to lead 43 laps, mechanical issues ended Perez’s night early with only 14 laps to go.

“I am continually learning and growing as I take on these new tracks,” said Perez. “Luck hasn’t been on our side so far, but our skills have, and I know we are going to show our true capabilities here soon.”
Scott also has been proving he has what it takes to run up front in the AMS and AMS East series, most recently securing P.4 in Iowa and P.2 at Flat Rock.

The Reese’s 200 is scheduled for Friday, August 11th where Perez and Scott will race for 200 laps. Final practice is set for 1:30 PM ET to 2:15 PM ET followed by a 20-minute qualifying session at 2:30 PM ET. The green flag will wave at 6:10 PM ET marking the beginning of the competition. You can tune in on FS1, Sirius XM, the Fox Sports App, and Rev social media for live updates.
