Perez and Scott to Compete at Kansas Speedway

 May 2nd, 2024

Concord, NC-  Rev Racing is preparing for the Tide 150 at Kansas Speedway, where Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott are poised to take on the Superspeedway this Saturday, May 4th. Perez will pilot the No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, while Scott will pilot the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet for the 150-mile competition.

Dsc00434Fresh off an impressive showing at Dover Motor Speedway last weekend, Rev Racing’s ARCA duo is hoping for a wave of momentum. Scott secured a 4th place finish at his home track, while Perez clinched 5th position, placing both Rev Racing entries firmly within the top 5.

For Perez, this marks his second visit to Kansas Speedway following his debut last season in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS). Despite encountering a spin that resulted in a 17th-place finish, Perez remains confident, stating, “Last season, we showed competitiveness at Kansas. However, my confidence on these superspeedway tracks has improved since then. Winning this race after last year’s setback would be incredible.”

Dsc00451Meanwhile, Scott also has experience at Kansas Speedway, where he qualified 6th and finished 4th last season, one of his best finishes in the AMS. “Last season, we consistently ran in the top 5,” Scott recalled. “After competing in Dover last week, where we spent time running 2nd, I’m now focused on switching to superspeedway mode and earning an AMS victory.”

The Rev Racing ARCA duo will hit the track for practice at 10:25 AM ET on May 4th, followed by qualifying at 11:10 AM ET. The race is set to start at 2:00 PM ET and will be streamed live on FS1, MRN, and Rev Racing’s social media platforms.
