Perez and Scott Returning to Iowa Speedway

Concord, NC –Rev Racing’s Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott are headed to Iowa Speedway to compete in the Atlas 150 this Friday, June 14th in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS).  This event is a companion race with the NASCAR Cup Series as they compete for the first time in NASCAR history at the Iowa track. The ARCA duo raced this track last year, earning the team two top-10 finishes.

Piloting the No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, this will be Scott’s second visit to Iowa Speedway where he qualified 3rd and finished 4th in the 2023 AMS season. “I’m excited to compete”, said Scott. “Last year we almost were able to secure a win and with the improvement over the year and this season, I’m looking forward to getting back to Iowa.” Scott finished 5th at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) after qualifying in 7th place during the last event in the AMS.  

In the 2023 season, Perez qualified 6th and finished 6th at Iowa Motor Speedway. Perez continues to be competitive, holding the lead in the point standings for the AMS and securing the pole in the recent General Tire 150 race at CMS. Conducting the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, Perez is looking to defend his points lead at Iowa. “I’m ready to be competing again in Iowa, especially after all the good work the team has been putting in so far,” said Perez. “Last year we had a good run but I’m feeling more confident now that I know what to expect. We have come close to winning this season and I am confident we can do it here at Iowa.”

Perez and Scott are set to practice on Friday, June 14th, at 2PM CT. Qualifying will begin shortly after at 3PM CT, followed by the start of the race at 7:10 PM CT. The duo will compete for 150 laps and therefore 132 miles. The Atlas 150 will be live on FS1, MRN, and Rev Racing’s social media.
