Chihuahua, Mexico – Daniel Suárez is definitely enjoying his most recent trip to El Dorado Speedway in Chihuahua, Mexico more than his last visit.

In the NASCAR Toyota Series’ inaugural visit to the track in 2012, a suspension problem ended Suárez’s night after 130 laps and left him with a 30th place finish. This time around, the young Monterrey driver turned in his best performance of the season, winning the Chihuahua 240 from the pole position on Sunday and claiming his first victory of 2013 and third of his career.

The win continues a recent hot streak by Suárez in the Toyota Series. After opening the season with an 11th place finish in Phoenix, Suárez has now turned in four Top 10 finishes and three consecutive Top 5 efforts (ninth, fourth, fourth and first respectively). The stretch of good driving has propelled the youngster to the top of the leaderboard, just three points behind series leader Antonio Pérez in the unofficial championship standings.
