Concord, NCNASCAR Drive for Diversity Development Driver Regina Sirvent officially announced today she will race full-time in the NASCAR PEAK Mexico Challenge Series during the 2021 season, driving the No. 01 Chevrolet Camaro for Team Race Planet.

Sirvent is also running a full-season with Rev Racing both in a Late Model and U.S. Legend Car. Sirvent will attempt the full 12-race NASCAR PEAK Mexico Challenge Series schedule, under the sponsorship support of the Water People, Flex Seguridad Privada, Manufacturas AGAPSA, MS Comercialización, Restaurant Cluny, and C Transportation.

Sirvent, 18, was born in Mexico City, Mexico. Sirvent started racing karts when she was 9 years old on a road course in Cuernavaca, Morelos. She also participated in the Florida Winter Tour in 2014 and 2016 as well as racing in a Junior Kart for the Rotax and Vortex championship. She was able to finish in the top 5 of the championship point standings in both that season and the 2017 season.

In 2017, she moved to the FB y Bohn Mikel’s Trucks by NASCAR Peak Mexico Series where she garnered a top 10 finish in her first year. In 2018, she raced 1 race in F4 Mexico Series, finishing 5th, as well as earning 2 poles in the Mexico Truck series. In 2019, she finished 2nd in the 12 Houres of Puebla. 2020 served as a turning point for Sirvent, as she captured a 3rd overall finish in points, 2 wins, 5 podiums and 2 poles in the FB y Bohn Mikel’s Trucks by NASCAR Peak Mexico Series.

In her first season with Rev Racing, she garnered a third-place finish at the Charlotte Summer Shootout with three top fives and five top 10s. Sirvent earned a second-year opportunity to run a INEX Legend Car as well as a full-time ride in Rev Racing’s Late Model program.

“I’m very excited to be racing the Challenge Series because it is one step up from the Trucks series that I raced in last year,” says Sirvent. “Racing in the Challenge Series will absolutely help me in every area of my racing career.”

Sirvent will kick off her season at Súper Óvalo Chiapas in Tuxtla Gutiérrez on May 22-23. The race will span 130 laps. Her Rev Racing teammate Lavar Scott is also running at Súper Óvalo Chiapas, but in the FB y Bohn Mikel’s Trucks.
