Scott looking for his moment at Talladega Superspeedway

April 23, 2025
Concord, NC- Lavar Scott is geared up and ready to make his run in the General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway this Saturday, April 26th. Scott, fresh off his ARCA Menards Series (AMS) East run at Rockingham Speedway, is looking for a shift of luck at ‘Dega’. After an early race incident on lap two, the No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet was left out of contingency for a victory and overall desired outcome.
Despite earning a top 10 finish, Rev Racing and Scott are left thirsty for his moment of glory and ultimately his first trip to victory lane in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS). Although only running two of the 20 AMS scheduled events for the 2025 season, Scott has garnered two top 5 finishes from Daytona International Speedway and Phoenix Raceway. There is just one thing left on his mind, to get a win this season.
“I am eager to get to Talladega and get focused,” said Lavar Scott. “Rockinghham was disappointing. We had great speed in practice and what we believed to be a real shot of being contingent for the win. However, it’s time to move on and look forward to the next opportunity that presents itself. We have put a lot of effort into our preparations and I am excited to see what we can do in Dega. The goal is simple, to focus, execute and deliver results!”
The General Tire 200 is a doubleheader event alongside the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Scott is scheduled to practice at 3:00 PM ET on Friday, April 25th, with qualifying determined by 2024 owner points before the race kicks off on Saturday, April 26th at 12:30 p.m. ET. Spanning 76 laps on the 2.66-mile superspeedway, the race will be broadcasted live on FS1, MRN, and fans can stay updated via Rev Racing’s social media platforms.
