Rev Racing returns to on-track action at Toledo
Concord, NC (6/12/2020) – Rev Racing drivers will compete at the Herr’s Potato Chips 200 presented by Federated Auto Parts at Toledo Speedway for the second race of the ARCA Menards East season.
The Development Drivers are looking to get great results in their first race back since the Covid-19 pandemic halted scheduled activities. Rev Racing drivers Chase Cabre and Nick Sanchez are excited to get back behind the wheel after a 3 month break. Rev Racing’s NASCAR Drive for Diversity Development drivers have never competed at the half-mile oval.
Chase Cabre (Age: 22 – Hometown: Tampa, Fla.)
Chase Cabre, driver of the No. 4 Max Siegel Inc./Eibach Toyota, will be returning back to action looking to improve on his top-10 result at Phoenix in March. Cabre had a breakout 2019 season that included 2 wins and is looking forward to pursuing another this weekend.
“This race is going to be crazy” says Cabre. “Limited practice, no fans, but I’m confident in my team and can only hope for the best result possible.”
Nick Sanchez (Age: 18 – Hometown: Miami, Fla.)
Nick Sanchez, driver of the No. 2 UTI/NTI Toyota, will be making his 6th start in ARCA and 3rd of his first full season in Toledo. The 18-year-old Florida native will take on the half mile track looking to improve on his top-10 finish at Phoenix. In his first 5 ARCA appearances, Sanchez has tallied a top-10 result in all but 1 start in his career.
“It’s been a long time coming” says Sanchez. “I’m excited to get to the track and continue our season, we still have a lot to build off of and show for!”
From the Drive for Diversity Program’s start, Rev Racing has had 21 wins, 97 top 5s, and 200 top 10 finishes in the NASCAR ARCA East Series, with drivers finishing in the top-10 in points in every season.
The duo will have a one day show on Saturday with the green flag waving at 6 p.m. ET.
