Concord, NC (June 16, 2016) – Last race, Rev Racing took to Dominion Raceway for the ComServe Wireless 150. While Rev was ready for two top-5 finishes, an accident and track debris generated a different outcome.

Collin Cabre, who qualified 8th, worked his way to second place toward the end of the race and had his sights set on a top-5 finish, or even a victory. Following a wreck on lap 137, some debris remained on the track, causing challenges for Cabre. He experienced a flat on the restart around lap 147 and ultimately finished p18. He currently sits 10th place in point standings.

Teammate Ruben Garcia Jr. also experienced some track frustration at Dominion. Behind Cabre as Cabre’s tire went out, Garcia was forced to checkup and ended the race in 6th place. Ruben is 12th in points and aims to improve his positioning at Stafford.

J.A. Junior Avila started 6th and finished 12th, while Ali Kern started 22nd and moved several spots to finish 15th.

“We are showing great potential this year,” said Director of Competition, Jefferson Hodges. “We just have not gotten the finishes we deserve. It is a matter of time before our luck turns around and we start bringing home some wins. As a team, we are excited about traveling to Stafford for the first time. The track has a lot of history and we are ready for the challenge.”

Rev Racing will hit the track on Friday, June 17th at 9:15 p.m., for the Stafford 150 at Stafford Motor Speedway. Two-lap qualifying begins at 6:30 p.m. with the Driver Autograph Session following at 7:30 p.m.
