Rev Racing to Field All Three Youth Development Drivers

Concord, NC- All three of Rev Racing’s Youth Development Drivers are set to compete at Florence Motor Speedway in the Race for The Pot O’ Gold on Saturday, March 16th.

Track: Florence Motor Speedway(FMS

Series/Race: Legends Car 20-lap feature

Practice is scheduled for Saturday, March 16h, at 10:00 AM ET, and again at 12:30 PM ET. Qualifying will begin ay 2:00 PM ET. Features begin at 3:15 PM ET.

Nathan Lyons, from Concord, NC, is returning to the track for his second season with Rev Racing. Last season, Lyons was able to secure a win at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the US Legends Car Cookout Summer Shootout. Lyons also secured a third-place finish at FMS last season and stated, “I’m hoping to gain two more spots for the win this Saturday.”

LaQuan McCoy Jr, from Fortmill, SC, will also pilot his Legend Car at FMS. This will be McCoy’s first visit to FMS in a Legend Car, having raced at the track once before in a Bandolero. “I’m super excited to be racing with Rev this season,” stated McCoy.

Cassidy Keitt, from Lexington, NC, will also be competing at FMS for the first time in her career. Keitt has 2 Winter Heat Series Race wins in a Legend Car and hopes to add another at FMS, stating “We have been busy training at Rev Racing and learning from Mark Green over the past couple months. I’m ready to be on the track with Rev and to secure a win.”

The Legend Car Series is a platform for emerging talents like Lyons, McCoy, and Keitt. Rev Racing believes that this series will provide youth drivers with valuable experience, exposure, and the chance to develop skills. “I’m really looking forward to being on the track with Nathan, LaQuan, and Cassidy,” said Mark Green, Director of Driver Development. “These three have been working hard in the shop and I’m confident we’re going to have good results at this first race. We’ll learn a lot and continue growing.”
