IMG_0866Concord, NC (April 29, 2016– Rev Racing K&N drivers will gain experience turning both left and right this weekend, as they compete at the first of three road courses in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE)  schedule this season. The team is headed to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) for Saturday’s Biscuitville 125. The drivers will compete 55 laps on the 2.25-mile North Course of the track, and will be doing live pit stops for the first time this season.

Rev Racing strives to duplicate its 2015 VIR victory finish, where last year’s driver of the #42 Toyota Sergio Peña garnered a first place finish for Rev.

Collin Cabre (No. 2 UTI/NTI Toyota) – Collin Cabre will head into this weekend ranked 8th in the points. Cabre is the only Rev Racing driver to have competed previously at VIR, where he earned his first top-5 of his KNPSE career. Cabre and team will aim for another top-5, after an impressive 8th place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway.

J.A. Junior Avila (No. 42 Brialle Battery  Toyota) – Avila, currently 15th in points, hopes to also lock in a top finish at this weekend’s Biscuitville 125. Avila, who comes with past road course experience, is excited to see what he and his team are capable of. After mechanical troubles in Bristol Motor Speedway, they are focused on a solid finish.

Ali Kern (No. 4  Max Siegel, Inc. Toyota) – Kern, driver of the Max Siegel, Inc. Toyota is hoping to bounce back after a tough race at Bristol Motor Speedway. A several car accident forced Kern to exit the race after only completing 9 laps.  Kern hopes to improve her point standings this weekend with a strong finish. To prepare herself for her first road course experience, Kern took further instruction with Bondurant Racing in Phoenix, Arizona earlier this year.

Ruben Garcia (No. 6 Special Smiles Toyota) – Garcia, who also has a bit of road course experience driving in the NASCAR Mexico Series, hopes to secure a strong run this weekend. Garcia and team are currently sitting 18th in points.

Group qualifying for the Bisquitville 125 will be on Saturday, April 30th at 12:00pm, followed by the 55-lap race at 3:45 pm. Follow @RevRacin on Twitter for live race updates.
