Hoping for clearer skies than those in Mobile, Rev Racing heads south to Greenville, SC to compete in the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 this weekend.

This is the 15th time the series will travel to Greenville Pickens Speedway and a familiar visit for Rev Racing. Rev alum Darrell ‘Bubba’ Wallace Jr. is the only driver to ever have two wins at Greenville. The 2016-2017 Rev Racing driver class is looking to add another victory to its roster.

After a 15th place finish at Greenville last year, Collin Cabre returns determined on a strong finish. After starting P9 and sitting in 2nd for majority of the last series race, a late-in-the-race blowout of his front tire caused Cabre to veer off the track and unable to continue. The #2 UTI/NTI Toyota driver ultimately finished 22nd in Mobile. Currently 12th in points this season, Cabre is hoping to bounce back and secure a top-10 this weekend.

Driver of the #4 Max Siegel, Inc. Toyota, Ali Kern, sat in the top-10 toward the end of the race at Mobile after starting P21. Through a solid race of multiple cautions and restarts, Kern lost position on a late restart and took the checkered in 13th position. After closing in on her first top-10 win of the season in Mobile, Kern aims to complete the feat in Greenville. She is currently 14th in points.

After starting P17, Jairo Avila Jr. advanced throughout the race in Mobile eventually finishing P15. Avila Jr. is currently 17th in points. Continuing to finish higher each race, the #42 Rev Racing Toyota driver will head to Greenville with what proves to be a promising effort.

#6 Special Smiles Toyota driver Ruben Garcia Jr. also heads back ready to advance after a P18 finish last race. In and out of the top-15 at Mobile, Garcia Jr. continues to make strides on the track. Building on improved communication with his crew chief, the team looks forward to Greenville. Garcia Jr. is 19th in the standings.

The Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 will begin 7 p.m. on Saturday.
