In addition to developing our drivers’ abilities on the track, Rev Racing and the Drive for Diversity program are equally devoted to developing our drivers’ character off of the track. Organized by Habitat for Humanity Charlotte, Rev Racing drivers and front office members recently participated in the rebuilding of a condominium in northern Charlotte for families in need.

Drive for Diversity is an academy-style initiative, housed by Rev Racing, devised to give minorities and women the tools and guidance to succeed in the otherwise expensive sport of automobile racing. The invitation to join the Rev Racing team provides each driver with an opportunity that many individuals only dream of. In return, Rev Racing holds its drivers to the highest standard and encourages them to be active members in our community.

For anyone in the Charlotte area looking to get involved with Habit for Humanity, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Beth Reichert at 704-716-7077 or [email protected]

Rev Racing’s next volunteer initiative will be the Racing4Vets Veteran Kart Challenge at the Go Pro Motorplex (Mooresville, NC) on May 19, 2014. Racing4Vets leverages the power of the motorsports community for the benefit of disabled U.S. military veterans. Rev Racing drivers will be in attendance to compete and sign autographs. Please come out and support the Rev Racing drivers, as well as those who have bravely fought for the freedoms that we enjoy every day. For more information visit: http://www.racing4vets.org
