The Glen Awaits … Full-time ARCA Menard’s Series driver, Lavar Scott, will compete with Rev Racing in the General Tire 100 at the Glen in New York this weekend. Scott will take on Watkins Glen International for the second time in his career, where he both qualified and finished 9th almost a year ago. The team’s weekend will begin on Friday, August 8th with practice at 10:00 a.m. ET followed by the General Tire Pole Qualifying session at 11:00 a.m. ET. The green flag is scheduled to fly at 2:00 p.m. ET. 

Season to Date … The General Tire 100 at the Glen will be the 13th race of the AMS season. In the previous 12, Scott garnered 11 top-10 finishes and 8 top-5 finishes. Scott’s best race of the season occurred at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where Scott finished 3rd after qualifying 9th for the General Tire 150. Scott began the 2025 campaign with three top-5 qualifications at Daytona, Phoenix, and Talladega, while finishing top-6 in all three races. Last week at Iowa Speedway, Scott finished 5th after qualifying 4th in the Atlas 150. 

Tune In … Coverage for the General Tire 100 at the Glen will begin with the green flag at 2:00 p.m. ET on Friday, August 8th. The race can be viewed live on FS2 with a stream available on the Fox Sports App. MRN.com and ARCARacing.com will also provide live radio coverage for the event.
