Rev Racing heads to the desert at Phoenix Raceway
Lavar Scott takes to the track for his second race in the 2025 ARCA Menards Series season
March 6, 2025
Concord, NC- Rev Racing is set for the second race of the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) at Phoenix Raceway for the General Tire 150 where they will field returning driver, Lavar Scott. This race will serve as a combination event with the ARCA Menards Series West (AMS West). Scott will take to the 1 mile long track on March 7th, 2025, for 150 laps. Friday’s event marks the fifth time the two series have come together to compete at Phoenix dating back to the first such event in 2021.
This Friday, Scott will make his fourth trip to the desert. Last season, Scott started 10th and finished 10th in the first Phoenix Raceway AMS event and finished 12th in the Phoenix AMS West event, capping out his last ARCA event of the 2024 season.
Scott, who piloted the No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, just came off of a top 5 finish in the season opener at Daytona. He currently sits 4th in the point series standings and is ready to navigate his way to an early-season visit to victory lane. “It’s probably the track where I have the most experience. I was able to run Phoenix twice last year and hopefully we can use our findings to capitalize on a solid finish,” says Scott. “I am hungrier than I have ever been. I am focused and ready to bring some hardware home. Hoping Phoenix might be our race.”
Practice is set to take place at 4:30 p.m. ET and the General Tire Pole qualifying session will kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET. The green flag for the General Tire 150, which can be seen live on FS1, drops the same evening, March 7 at 8 p.m. ET.
