Concord, NC (May 5, 2017) – This Saturday, Rev Racing drivers will take the green flag at South Boston Speedway(SOBO) for the forth and fifth race of the 2017 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season. The team will travel to the speedway for a day of testing on Friday, before racing the Twin 100s on the .4-mile banked asphalt oval on Saturday.

NASCAR Drive for Diversity (D4D) drivers are ready to continue the pattern of success the D4D Program has found at South Boston. In 2011, alumni drivers Darrell Wallace Jr. set the pole and Sergio Peña captured the win. Ryan Gifford also holds the track record for the most top-5s and top-10s at South Boston Speedway in the NKNPSE.

Current driver, Rubén García Jr. earned second place and his best NKNPSE career finish at the last race in Bristol. “Rev Racing drivers have found a lot of success at SOBO,” said García. “The two races will be challenging, but with my teams’ previous knowledge of the track and having our car in great shape, we are confident we will have a good finish, if not a win.”

Rubén García Jr. (No. 6 NTI/MSI): García will head into this weekend sitting 5th in points. He and his team are focused on another top-finish.

Collin Cabre (No. 2 UTI/NTI Toyota): Cabre most recently finished with an impressive 6th place at Bristol Motor Speedway, despite the call of the race halfway due to rain. Driver of the No. 2 UTI/NTI Toyota is currently sitting 9th point standings.

Chase Cabre (No. 4 Braille Battery Toyota): Rookie driver, Chase Cabre, still sitting in the top 10 in point standings, is looking forward to South Boston. He and his team are focused on communication and a good qualifying position.

Jay Beasley (No. 42 Hart to Heart Breast Cancer Foundation Toyota): Beasley heads into the fourth race of the season with an 11th position in points. Beasley and team are ready to make an impact this weekend.

All drivers are looking forward to a test day on Friday, which will allow the drivers and crew to acquire more data and get as much seat time as possible before the green flag falls. Group qualifying will begin Saturdayat 4:00 pm, followed by the autograph session at 5:40 pm and the WHOSYOURDRIVER.ORG Twin 100s at 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm EST.
