Rev Racing Gears Up for Florence’s South Carolina 400

Concord, NC — NASCAR Drive for Diversity Development Driver’s Lavar Scott, Regina Sirvent and Isabella Robusto, will attempt to qualify and compete in the 2nd Annual South Carolina 400 Charlie Powell Memorial Race (SC400) this weekend, November 19th-20th.
There are more than 50 entries for the SC400, which was formerly known as the “Myrtle Beach 400.” As the team prepares for this weekend’s competition, this will also mark the final race of the season for Rev Racing. As the drivers reflect on the year, they are definitely looking to finish strong.
Lavar Scott, driver of the No. 34 NASCAR Technical Institute and Vizionary Wealth Management Chevrolet will attempt his first official start at Florence Motor Speedway. Earlier this year, Scott ran only 10 practice laps before the race was cancelled due to inclement weather. The last time Scott drove the No. 34 for Rev Racing, he garnered his first Late Model win of his career at Hickory Motor Speedway on September 11th.
“I am excited to get back to the track this weekend at Florence,” says Lavar Scott. “We are eager to lay some practice laps down to help us prepare for qualifying. It is a robust field of drivers, so we are focused on being as competitive as possible and finishing the season out strong.”
Regina Sirvent, driver of the No. 10 Eibach Springs Chevrolet will aim to make her fifth start this weekend at Florence Motor Speedway. Sirvent previously competed in twin races in both July and August, garnering a top-10 finish.
Isabella Robusto, driver of the No. 55 Honda Generators Chevrolet, has yet to compete at Florence this season. She is, however, no stranger to the track having earned an impressive 2nd place finish in October of 2020.
The SC 400 will offer two practice days followed by Saturday’s qualifying and race activities. Over 50+ Late Model Stocks will compete to make the field of 35 in the Charlie Powell Memorial SC400, with qualifying being set for 2:15 p.m ET. Pre-race festivities begin at 4:15 p.m. ET. Racing activities are set to begin at 4:30 p.m. ET, with the 150-lap Late Model feature to follow later that evening.
