Rev Racing Fielding ARCA Duo at Daytona International Speedway

February 15th, 2024

Concord, NC- Rev Racing is set for the 2024 ARCA Menards Series (AMS) opener at Daytona International Speedway (DIS), fielding two entries in the Daytona ARCA 200. Andres Perez de Lara will pilot the No. 2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet for his second full season in AMS, and Lavar Scott for his first full season driving the No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet. Rev Racing was able to finish 2nd in point standings with Andres Perez in the 2023.

Looking to carry that momentum into 2024, Perez returns for his fourth season with Rev Racing. While this marks Perez’s second season in AMS, this will be his first-time racing at DIS, due to not meeting the age requirement last year. Perez was able to secure a single pole position last season and finished in the top 5 in half of the 20 races. Glenn Parker will lead the No.2 team as Crew Chief for the 2024 season.

Last year I couldn’t compete at Daytona, so I am extremely thankful that I get to compete this weekend. We have been preparing all off season and I’m ready to showcase what we have.”

Lavar Scott is set to run his first full-time schedule in the AMS during his fifth season with Rev Racing. In 2023, Scott ran a full season in the AMS East, where he was able to finish in the top 5 in over half the races, with a best finish of 2nd

Last season, Scott ran for Rev Racing at DIS. Scott started 11th and lead 14 laps before finishing 4th. “This weekend is the start of what could be a championship year for us as a team,” said Scott. “We put in all the hard work in the offseason, and we learned a lot last year. I’m determined for success, and I know the team is as well.”
