Rev Racing and Nick Sanchez Ready for Daytona

Concord, NC- Rev Racing is set to begin their second season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS), with driver Nick Sanchez, during the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway(DIS) on Friday, February 16th in the Fresh From Florida 250! Sanchez will pilot the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet in what will be his 6th time competing at Daytona. 

Rev Racing announced their continued participation in the NCTS with its technical alliance partner Spire Motorsports early this year. Kevin “Bono” Manion will serve as Crew Chief for the No. 2 team for the 2024 season.

Last season, Sanchez secured the pole at DIS in what was his first appearance in the NCTS. This season, the team is looking to do the same, with the addition of a winning result.. “Last season we came close to a win multiple times,” said Sanchez. “We have been preparing the entire off season for this and the No.2 team is ready to finally bring home a win.” When asked what winning Daytona would mean to him, Sanchez responded “Winning Daytona would be a dream come true, a milestone in my career. I can’t put into words what winning Daytona would mean to me and the team.” 

Sanchez finished 6th in the NCTS standings in the 2023 season and secured 5 pole positions. He also won the 2023 NCTS Rookie of The Year. 

Sanchez will compete on the 2.5-mile tri-oval superspeedway on Friday, February 16th at 7:30 PM ET for 100 laps. Qualifying is scheduled for 3:00 PM ET earlier that afternoon.
