Rev Racing and Andres Perez de Lara Ready for Atlas 200

September 28, 2023

Concord, NC- After securing a third-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway, Andres Perez de Lara and the Rev Racing team are gearing up for their next race on a half-mile track. Salem Speedway will host the upcoming ARCA Menards Series event, scheduled for Saturday, September 30th. This race, the 19th out of 20 in the season, promises to test the limits of the drivers.

Despite the unfamiliarity of Salem Speedway, Perez remains confident, especially after his impressive P.3 finish at Bristol. Throughout his debut full season in the AMS, Perez has consistently finished within the top 10, with only five exceptions, including a race at Daytona where he couldn’t compete due to age restrictions. In addition to his success with the No. 2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, Perez has achieved multiple podium finishes in races back home in Mexico.

“While we currently hold the second position in the standings, it’s no secret that we haven’t secured a victory this season,” Perez commented. “We’ve come close and even secured a pole position, but victory lane has remained just out of reach. After my experience at Bristol and everything I’ve learned this year, I’m hopeful that I can bring home a win for the Rev Racing team before the season concludes.”

The No. 2 team is preparing for the 200-lap feature and is determined to achieve success. The ATLAS Roofing 200 is scheduled for this Saturday, September 30th. Practice is set to begin at 3:45 PM ET, followed by a 2-lap qualifying session at 5:15 PM ET. The race will kick off at 7:41 PM ET, covering a total of 111 miles. Fans can catch the action on FS2,, and Rev’s social media channels.
