One Last Chance, Sanchez Hoping for a Win

November 1st, 2023

Concord, NC- Nick Sanchez and the Rev Racing team are prepared for their final showdown this season at Phoenix Raceway. After a hard-fought battle at Homestead that saw him slip out of the Championship standings, Sanchez has proved he is a force to be reckoned with in his rookie NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) season.

Despite commendable effort, Sanchez now finds himself in 6th place in the standings following the Homestead-Miami event. Throughout the season, he has clinched an impressive five poles, more than anyone else in the field, and top-five or top-ten finishes on thirteen separate occasions. Sanchez hopes to carry over this season-long success to Phoenix.

While a newcomer in the NCTS, Sanchez holds a wealth of experience at Phoenix Raceway. His past appearances in the 2020, 2021, and 2022 ARCA Menards seasons led to his best finish of P.6. Additionally, he competed twice in the 2022 Xfinity season, achieving a best finish of P.12.

“It’s a tough pill to swallow, not being in the running for the Championship,” admitted Sanchez. “Nevertheless, our team fought relentlessly, giving their all in my rookie season.” Sanchez added, “Our current goal is to finish as strong as possible at Phoenix and demonstrate our capability to consistently compete at the forefront.”

Practice for the 150-lap event is scheduled for Thursday, November 2nd at 8:00 PM EST, followed by Sanchez’s qualifying run in the No. 2 Chevrolet on November 3rd at 6:05 PM EST. The 150-mile event kicks off at 10:00 PM EST. Fans are encouraged to catch the final race of the season on FS1, Sirius XM, and Rev Racing’s social media platforms, witnessing the culmination of Sanchez’s journey in the NCTS.
