Concord, NC– After an impressive show during Nick Sanchez’s tribute to Mario Andretti at Darlington, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) is headed to the legendary North Wilkesboro Speedway for the first time since 1996! Following an impressive 3rd place qualifying effort and 11th place finish, Sanchez is poised to continue his momentum and further push himself towards his first victory of the season.

At Darlington Sanchez was able to demonstrate his mettle, navigating the treacherous track with precession and agility. Despite facing intense competition from seasoned veterans, Sanchez was able to keep the No.2 Gainbridge Chevrolet
in the top 10 for the majority of the race. With the upcoming race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Sanchez is aiming to build on his recent success and trajectory towards the winner’s circle.

“Wilkesboro will be good for us,” said Sanchez. Sanchez is confident with his ltakeaways “I’ll take what I learned about tire management in Darlington and implement it this weekend. As usual the Gainbridge Chevy should have speed, I
just have to close it out!”

The upcoming Tyson 250 is set for Saturday, May 20th at 1:30 PM ET and promises to be an exciting event as the drivers take to the short .625 mile oval. Truck Practice is scheduled for 3:00 PM ET Friday and qualifying is Saturday at 10:30 AM ET. The drivers will compete for 250 laps and 156.2 miles. Fans can tune in on FS1, MRN, SiriusXM, or following along on Rev social media.
