Monday, October 19th:
Charlotte, NC, – The participants have been selected for 2015 NASCAR Drive for Diversity Youth Combine. Youth combine participants will be evaluated on their driving skills and past experience on November 2nd at Concord Motorsports Park, located in Charlotte, NC.
Each year, the NASCAR Drive for Diversity initiative and its competition arm, Rev Racing, seek to obtain the highest quality of applicants representing diverse backgrounds and develop them into successful NASCAR drivers. “This year the talent continues to improve,” said Jefferson Hodges, Rev Racing Director of Competition. “We love working with drivers at this period in their career. We have the ability to help build their foundation and influence their maturity into the next series.”
Drivers, from the across the nation, applied to the program in early September. 13 drivers were selected to participate in this year’s 2015 Combine. Selected drivers will compete in the 2016 Summer Shootout, located in Charlotte NC. Rev Racing will support four drivers in both the Legend and Bandolero Series.
