Lavar Scott

Team: No. 34 NASCAR Technical Institute Chevrolet

“I feel confident heading into Florence, we performed well there last year,” said Lavar Scott. “I will have to be more patient in the first 40 laps and not be aggressive and burn out fuel and tires too quickly. I enjoy racing at Florence and I’m eager to get back to the track for some racing.”

Fast Facts: This will mark Scott’s 3rd trip to Florence Motor Speedway in his 2022 season. Scott earned a top-3 finish at Florence in April during their Easter Racing 50-lap feature event. Scott recorded his first career NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series win at Hickory Motor Speedway in September of 2021

Jaiden Reyna

Team: No. 19 Honda Generators Chevrolet

“I feel optimistic heading into race weekend, we are carrying momentum over from Hickory and we are looking to improve overall in Florence,”  said Jaiden Reyna. “I’m looking forward to gaining more experience on a worn track, it will be important to gain as many positions as possible in the first half, then relaxing the car the first 15-20 laps of the second half, and then being more aggressive towards the end.”

Fast Facts: This will also be Reyna’s third trip to Florence Motor Speedway, where he is in search of a top-5 finish. In his rookie season, Reyna earned his highest finish (P3) at Hickory Motor Speedway in May of this year.
