U.S. LEGEND CAR SEMI-PRO SERIES

Blake Lothian

Blake Lothian, 16, from Wellesley, Massachusetts, will join the Rev Racing roster and the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Youth Driver Development Program for the second year in a row. Lothian started go-karting at age five and even at this young age it was clear he could hold his own on the track with adult racers.

In 2014, Blake started racing at F1 Boston in Braintree, Massachusetts. There he was a member of their Junior Racing League where he raced regularly on both their indoor and outdoor tracks. Blake won numerous races in the F1 Junior League and took the gold for the league championship in April of 2017.

In 2016, Blake decided it was time to take the next step in his racing career.  After several years of saving, Blake bought and assembled his own kart with help from the crew at CF Motorsports in the spring. After weeks of work at the CF shop Blake’s #1 Kart was race-ready for his first F1 Club race on June 4th, 2016. In 2017, he was the New Hampshire Karting Association (NHKA) Briggs and Stratton LO206 Senior champion with seven first place finishes and three second place finishes.

In 2018, Lothian raced a World Formula Kart in the 2018 NHKA Outdoor series. He raced nine out of 10 of the series races, which were held at New Hampshire Motor Speedway road course and Canaan Motor Speedway in Canaan, New Hampshire, with his highest finish in third place. In 2019, Lothian finished top-15 at the Bojangles Summer Shootout in the Semi-Pro Series Division.

Lothian will run in the U.S. Legend Semi-Pro Division during the 2020 Bojangles’ Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
