This will be the 2nd dirt track race of the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) season, and 16th race overall. Scott will pilot the No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet SS with Are You Really Winning? after two 2nd place finishes in a row at Illinois State and Madison. Scott’s weekend will begin with practice on August 31st at 4:30 p.m. CT, followed by General Tire Pole Qualifying at 6:00 p.m. CT. Racing will begin that night at 7:45 p.m. CT.

Season to Date … Last week at Madison International Speedway, Scott qualified 5th and finished 2nd, his second-straight P2 finish. Before Madison, Scott placed 2nd at the Illinois State Fairgrounds after starting 4th. This season, he has 10 top-5 finishes while finishing in the top-10 in all but one of his races. Outside of the past two weeks, Scott’s best run of the season came right out of the gate at Daytona, Phoenix, and Talladega. He finished top-6 in all three races after three top-5 qualifying efforts. Scott also impressed at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he finished 3rd after starting 9th.

Tune In … Coverage for the Southern Illinois 100 will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT on FS1, with a streaming option on the Fox Sports App. A radio broadcast will also be available at the same time on ARCARacing.com.

Driver Quote: “Duquoin should be good following how fast we were at Springfield,” said Scott. “We have been on a good roll here lately finishing 2nd the past two races, but we’re going for the win this weekend.”
