June 18, 2025
Concord, NC- Lavar Scott, Rev Racing’s full-time ARCA Menards Series (AMS) driver in 2025, will compete at Elko Speedway this weekend for the Shore Lunch 250 Presented by Dutch Boy. The Shore Lunch 250 will be the eighth race of the 2025 AMS season. The 0.375-mile paved oval at Elko Speedway will be the second short-track race of the season, where Scott will make 250 laps on June 21st, 2025.
Lavar Scott will take on Elko Speedway for the second time in his young career. Last time he was in Elko New Market, Minn., Scott qualified 4th and garnered a 2nd-place finish. Last week, Scott drove in the ARCA Berlin 200 at Berlin Raceway, where he finished in 5th place after qualifying 2nd. This was his fourth-straight top-5 finish. Scott hopes to improve upon his 2nd place finish last year with a trip to victory lane this weekend.
“I look forward to getting back to Elko, where we had the best chance at a win last season after a close second-place finish,” shared Scott. “I have learned a lot since Elko last year and can’t wait to apply those lessons this weekend.”
Rev Racing and Scott’s weekend will begin on Saturday, June 21 with the AMS practice sessions at 3:40 p.m. CT and 4:10 p.m. CT. The General Tire Pole Qualifying is scheduled for 5:20 p.m. CT. Finally, The Shore Lunch 250 Presented by Dutch Boys will begin at 8:14 p.m. CT, which can be watched on FS2 and the Fox Sports App, with a radio broadcast on ARCARacing.com.
