Concord, NC – Rev Racing NASCAR Drive for Diversity Development Driver Nick Sanchez, driver of the No. 2 Max Siegel Incorporated, heads to Pocono Raceway in search of his first win of the season.

The ARCA Menards Series Rookie has turned his season around since finishing 31st and 21st in the first 2 races of the season, finishing in the Top 5 in 4 of his last 5 races, the most recent of which coming at his first ever road course race. Currently 4th in the ARCA Menards Series points standings, Sanchez is just 72 points behind Corey Heim for the series points lead.

“Growing up racing go-karts on road course circuits, I was able to transfer that knowledge to Mid-Ohio a little bit,” says Sanchez. “But, there is an obvious difference between driving a shifter kart on a go-kart track and driving an ARCA stock car around a full-fledged road course, so there was still a learning curve for me. Overall, we’ll take a Top 5 but we aren’t satisfied.”

As for Pocono, Sanchez is feeling very optimistic about his chances of keeping his consistent streak going—and adding a win to his season stats.

“I am even more confident going into Pocono than I was going into Charlotte, and we ran P2, even P1 at times, during that race. I know that this team constantly works every week to give me good equipment, and I am really excited to have the chance of putting this team in victory lane.”

Sanchez is Rev Racing’s most seasoned driver, in his fourth year as a participant in the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Driver Development Program. This is his first year in the ARCA Menards Series, coming off a successful rookie campaign in the ARCA Menards Series East, where he finished 3rd in the point standings.

On June 25th, Sanchez and Rev Racing will head to the beautiful Pocono Mountains region to race at Pocono Raceway in the General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200. The race will air on FS1 with a live stream available on Fox Sports Go beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
