April 15, 2025
Concord, NC- Rev Racing is set to field three drivers in this weekend’s ARCA Menards Series (AMS) East event at Rockingham Speedway. Rev Racing will field full-time AMS driver, Lavar Scott, as well as debuting Lanie Buice and Eloy Sebastián López Falcón in their career-first AMS start. Rockingham will serve as the second AMS East race of the season. Scott and his teammates will take to the .94-mile D-shaped oval track on April 19th, 2025, for 125 laps.
Scott will also be making his first run at Rockingham, despite being in his third AMS/AMS East season with Rev Racing. Scott is off to a strong start in 2025, already having garnered two top 5 finishes at Daytona International Speedway and Phoenix Raceway. The No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. team felt like the added AMS East event was a great opportunity to get more seat time and continue to be better prepared for the end goal of an ARCA Menards Series Championship in 2025.
“I am really excited to be running Rockingham this weekend,” said Lavar Scott. “This addition to my schedule is beneficial for many reasons. I always welcome seat time and look forward to running anywhere that the National Series runs to get experience for future opportunities in my career. We have worked really hard to prepare for this and hope the results will be a testament to that preparation.”
Lanie Buice, who is a second-year returning development driver for Rev Racing, piloted a Late Model in 2024 and will continue to split her time between Late Models and select AMS events in 2025. Buice, from Locust Grove, Georgia, started racing at just 10 years old. From 2017 to 2020 she had a total of 91 go-kart wins, including 23 straight wins during her last season. Buice earned an impressive 12 top 5s and 18 top 10s in the 2023 season running in the Advanced Auto Parts Weekly Series, at Florence Motor Speedway. Due to her competitiveness at Florence Motor Speedway, Buice was able to finish second in overall point standings. She was selected in 2024 to be part of the NASCAR Driver Development Program and ran Late Models for Rev Racing. Buice concluded her 2024 season with a podium finish with Rev Racing at Southern Nationals Motorsports Park. In 2025, Buice will run a select number of Late Model and ARCA events, as well as the Cars Tour, with the goal being experience and growth into this next stage in her career.
“I’m incredibly excited to make my ARCA debut this weekend at Rockingham Speedway,” said Lanie Buice! “This is truly a surreal moment in my career. I’ve been working toward this opportunity for years, and to finally see it happening is a dream come true. I can’t wait to hit the track for the first time. My goal is to put down a solid run and come away with a strong finish. I want to be competitive and race hard, but I also know how important it is to stay focused, avoid mistakes, and learn as much as I can throughout the weekend. I am grateful for the entire Rev Racing team and all the hard work they’ve put in over the past few weeks. I am so thankful for everyone who makes this possible.”
Eloy Sebastián López Falcón is entering his third year with Rev Racing, where he will also compete part-time in the AMS/AMS East and the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. Eloy completed his second season with Rev in 2024, where he piloted the No. 6 Late Model Stock. Falcón earned his first career win in 2024 in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series at Southern National Motorplex Park and a second-place finish at Ace Speedway. Falcón also secured five wins and five pole positions in the 2024 NASCAR Mexico Challenge Series resulting in securing the championship for the Series. He continues to run in Mexico in conjunction with his racing schedule in the United States.
“I’m very excited to make my debut in the ARCA series, and above all, I’m grateful to Rev Racing and the program for supporting me through this process and giving me this opportunity,” Eloy Sebastián López Falcón. “I believe this race will be all about learning and finishing strong. I need to adapt quickly to the car and understand the track as much as possible. Last week, I spent time testing on the Chevrolet simulator and was able to gather a lot of valuable information for this first race. I hope to come out with a strong result, and I’m also excited to share the track with my teammates, as Rev Racing will be fielding three cars. It’s going to be a great weekend for the whole team.’’
The weekend will kick off with an optional AMSE Pre-Race Practice on Friday, April 18th. The Series practice is set to take place on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET and the General Tire Pole qualifying session will start at 10:35 a.m. ET. The green flag for the Start of the Rockingham ARCA 125, which can be seen live on FloRacing, drops the same evening, April 19th at 1 p.m. ET.
