Rev Racing determined to find success at the historic Milwaukee Mile

Dsc09074Concord, NC — After taking on Watkins Glen and the Springfield Fairgrounds in the same weekend, the Rev Racing duo of Sanchez and Caruth are preparing for the Milwaukee Mile this Sunday. Despite being dirt rookies, the team respectfully finished next to one another at P5 and P6 in Illinois. Now they are loading up and heading to the 1-mile track in West Allis, Wisconsin where they will run the Sprecher 150. The race serves as the 15th event of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series season and the sixth race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series East season. It also marks Round 8 of the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown.

As the oldest racetrack in the world, Milwaukee will pose some challenges to the team by being a flat and wide track. “We have struggled there in the past,” said Sanchez. “Hopefully, our work will pay off, and I hope we have a good day there.” The team has proven to take on any challenge this season to keep their momentum up between each race weekend. Sanchez also finds himself with the biggest points lead of the AMS season.

Caruth will pilot the No. 6 Gainbridge Chevrolet, “Historically in ARCA, we’ve been better at tracks with banking and struggled at flat tracks. So hopefully, the changes we made end up helping us.” Said Caruth. “I’m looking forward to returning with a new setup approach than last year. I hope it yields the performance we desire and the results that we have been working for all season.”

The two young stars at Rev have each made significant advancements to push their career forward. Caruth and Sanchez have a handful of Xfinity races left and six more ARCA races to showcase their talents and prove that they are up next. Both feel that winning the AMS Championships will open the door for more career opportunities and add legitimacy to who they are as competitive drivers.

Arca Menards Series

Sanchez has advanced his career by picking up four more races with Big Machine Racing in the Xfinity series. He has committed himself to achieving the best results no matter what. “As far as the end-of-season goal, I want to win the championship.” Said Sanchez. “There are six more chances for me to visit victory lane, and I will work endlessly to reach those goals.”

Caruth has shown consistency in his performances this year and has made his name known in motorsports. He is determined to become the first African-American to win the ARCA Menards Series championship.

“Before the ARCA season ends, I want to get my first win and secure the drivers’ championship. It would be huge [to win the championship]. Not too long ago, I was a kid watching Lewis Hamilton win his first championship and Bubba Wallace winning truck races. Now I have the opportunity to not only participation but be a real competitor.”

The Sprecher 150 will take place Sunday, August 28, at 2:00 p.m CT/ 3:00 p.m ET. MAVTV will provide live television coverage of the race. There will be a live stream of the race on FloRacing, and a live radio broadcast on ARCARacing.com.
