Perez and Scott to Compete at Berlin Raceway

June 26th, 2024

Dsc01708Concord, NC – Rev Racing’s Andres Perez De Lara and Lavar Scott are set to compete in the Berlin ARCA 200, the 9th event of the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) 2024 season, scheduled for this Saturday, June 29th. The duo will battle it out over, amongst other competitors for 200 laps at Berlin Raceway.

Perez maintains his position at the top of the AMS point standings, having secured a 6th place finish at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course last weekend. Currently leading by 37 points, Perez aims to further solidify his lead after the Berlin Raceway event. Behind the wheel of the No.2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet, Perez achieved a 4th place finish at the Michigan track last season.

“We’ve been demonstrating consistency on the tracks,” remarked Perez. “The only thing missing so far this season is a victory, and I’m eager to change that soon. I’m hoping for a strong qualifying session to secure a front-row starting position. I have more confidence this year and I intend to apply the lessons learned from last season.”

Meanwhile, in his inaugural national AMS season, Scott will make his debut at Berlin Raceway. Despite a late-race spin resulting in a 14th-place finish last weekend at Mid-Ohio, Scott maintains 3rd place in the standings, trailing 2nd place by just 11 points.

“Last week’s experience on the road course was valuable, but I’m excited to return to short tracks,” said Scott. “I’m confident in our competitiveness, and my goal is to put the No.6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet to 2nd place in the standings.”

The Berlin 200 is set to commence on Saturday, June 29th, at 8:00 PM ET following qualifying at 6:00 PM ET. Covering 200 laps and 88 miles of short-track racing, the event will be broadcast live on FS1, MRN, and Rev Racing’s social media channels.
