  • July: Daniel Suarez wins his first ever NASCAR K&N Pro Series East
  • August: Ryan Gifford makes his first NASCAR Nationwide Start in Iowa, and finishes 9th in his debut
  • August: Rev Racing Motorsports Driver’s Training Academy is launched
  • October: Daniel Suarez finishes third in the 2013 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East driver points standings

  • May: Michael Cherry becomes first African-American to win a Whelen All-American Series race at Tri-County Motor Speedway
  • April: Ryan Gifford becomes first African-American to win a pole
  • March: Darrell Wallace Jr. wins the season opener at Greenville Pickens Motor Speedway and becomes first African-American and youngest driver to win a race in the K&N Pro Series East
